    You are the only Company I buy my patterns from because of your wonderful tutorials you have paired with them! Keep up the great work! You make a beginner person grow and learn and not overwhelm them. Also your fabric recommendations is spot on. I just order from them and you. No more wondering in all the fabric stores for me!

    The video was helpful for a different reason than just how to make it, but to see how you go about getting ready to cut it out and sew it up. As a quilter, I think I’ve been too much of a perfectionist with pre-ironing and lining things up. I need wonder clips! :) Thanks!

    This pattern is so much fun and perfect for summer. The princess seams and fit are so slimming and flattering.

    I find the seam allow of 3/8" gets easily jammed in my overlocker, I much prefer 1/4" for ease of use and less mess. Other than that, I really love your designs and gorgeous and easy to wear garments, thank you. I bought this pattern from Karina's afflink and I can't wait to sew my dresses and tops. Thank you for a great instructional video.

      Wonderful! And once you know the SA on a pattern you can almost always change it to what your preferences are. Have you seen those pens with the circles attached that help you easily draw in the seam allowance you want - so cool. Hope you love your Tidals!

      I believe you can adjust the SA to what you prefer. However, I had a question…Are you using a 3/8” seam allowance on your serger/overlocker without sewing the seam on your sewing machine first? It may make everything more stable if you use your sewing machine first or maybe slow down on using the serger/overlocker. I used to have an issue with hangups because I was going so fast. Like we do on our sewing machines. Just wondered. I must admit I do love my serger/overlocker and my Coverstitch. And I love Love Notions patterns. I should, I own a lot of them. So comfortable to wear.

    I tried a muslin of this pattern made from a cotton bedsheet, I couldn't fit into, I'm wondering should I use an extra large size, My measurements are high bust 35,bust 37 and hip measures 38 waist is 37.5 . I would greatly appreciate some help. I am a newbie

    • @LoveNotions
      @LoveNotions  Před rokem

      A cotton bedsheet would not work for this pattern as it is meant for stretch fabrics. Woven fabrics will definitely result in the garment being too small. Each pattern will tell you what fabrics are required, both in the tutorial file as well as on the website listing page. ~K

    It looks like a great pattern. The only thing is that you don’t have paper patterns. Is there any plans to print patterns in the future?

    • @LoveNotions
      @LoveNotions  Před 2 lety +1

      We don't have plans to offer paper patterns - the overhead on that is not quite in our budget, at least not yet! :) Have you considered printing at a copy shop? I hear great things about PDF plotting!

    if you slowed down your speaking a little you wouldn''t have that loud in breath sound inbetween everything you say; it is amplified by your microphone. Other than that your tutorial is great
