Scammed! Returning Bodged Predator XRS X10 Vintage Dream RC

- So I finally got myself another Predator X10 RC after selling my old one a while ago to RCIcon. Unfortunately, when it arrived today it had a few issues that have turned this gem into a bit of a lemon. I'm gutted but I just have to return it and keep looking for another one. Some good news, The Blazing Blazer driver is back from paint, and WOW, it's amazing! You have to see this to believe just how good it is.

Wow for that money you could easily get a Dogfighter, they have such a rich history.
You bid and paid for a shelf queen, you should get a shelf queen. It doesn't matter that you got it for a cheaper price, that's what was described to you.

I really wish that you lived in Australia and I couldda painted that body on the Blazer for you in actual car paint seeing as that's my job painting cars ( for the last 30 years) and I could make that look like glass off the spray gun and have that thing really top quality, to match that incredible driver figure. Pity about the Predator, those things are great!
I did think about getting a paint shop to do it. I have painted it in car paint and clear coat but I still need to cut it back. As you see it now is just how the paint went down.
@@RCKickschannel Yeah, just doing it with paint in the workshop it wouldn't need to be touched after spraying and would probably be a tougher finish also. Still keen to see it completed and that driver is bloody fantastic!
Love the Blazer!! Had I known you were selling the Mercedes C11, I would have instantly bought it... Was so gutted myself after not being the lucky owner of the one you gave away...
It's always gutting, buying something from eBay/ Facebay/ etc, and not getting what you were expecting, so I feel your pain!! Good job you're getting your money back though. 👍🏻

How you doing Ashley kicked and I like to say it's still a classic I know you were right about everything you said everything that you point out he should have told you that it didn't have the correct part I like to say one thing my man it's a classic getting rid of it somebody else get it they going to even worse you know what I mean I would hold on to it and into the past comes up I fix it up myself you know what I mean you are a great classic RC car CZcams and I love watching your video and I agree with everything you said about the car he should have let you know what was wrong with it but you can price it accordingly and I like to say even though he didn't do it the right way it's still a classic and with the right card it still can be a very beautiful car and I know you love it because you want to know how I know I know you like it you put it a video out there a lot of people would just return it back but you took the time to tell people why you will return it that car means something to you and your heart don't make a mistake like I did I so one of my car and I regretted it to the day and it was a classic and I loved it so what I'm saying is open your eyes and love that car it's in your hand taking it back to the guy it wouldn't make sense I know it I know I don't have the right to say anything about what you do with your money it's your money and your collection but I hope and I pray that you will open your eyes and see that it hard to find parts of the fine the predator think about it would it be worth something in the next 20 years you have a great Channel and I love watching yourself I agree with it you should like I said many times should have told you but I think you'll be worth it thank you

All the best with the return of cash, sounds lousy with ways for it to go wrong. At least you've got content out of it, hope they don't try to use that as a justification to claw someback.

What website do you sell your cars on?
I put them on the RCKicks Patreon group first and if anything is left after a week or so I put them on the RCKicks Facebook page. I still have a new built Kyosho Javelin, used and modified CC-01 Defender, Schumacher Icon F1 run once with cut out but not painted body. All have boxes and manuals.
Speaking of the metal roof for the Blazin Blazer did you see the roof and cage that Matt from SBG just got for his BB restoration that he started?
I did see Matt's first video on his Blazer but I haven't seen his latest video on it. I will go check it out :)

Why not buy and promote the L & L models X22 version? although you need a B74 parts for that too.
if I had the B74 already I would have done that project. Starting from scratch is not viable for me but it is a shame.

I hate having to call this scamming...but, in all honesty, it does sorta-kinda look like that's what the seller was doing. It is possible that the seller bought it like that from someone else, and never knew...but, at some point, some seller did scam some buyer.
The trouble with this hobby is people are not that honest on eBay imo with their descriptions
