    • @Echodolly6
      @Echodolly6 Před 4 lety +6

      No country has 100% free speech, not even the US otherwise slander and libel cases wouldn't exist over there if anyone could say anything without legal consequences.
      The UK has the right kind of freedom of speech in my opinion. We can say pretty much anything we like but serious threats of violence, serious inciting of hatred, racism, sexism, homophobia and any other serious violent threats towards any group are illegal and quite rightly too. Everyone vents occasionally and says mock violent things like "Ooooh he's/she's so annoying, I want to push him/her off a cliff" or something but common sense tells you when it's a serious threat or just a frustrated vent.
      Mostly, people don't face any legal trouble saying anything they like. It's mainly high profile people with big platforms on TV or social media that need to be careful what they say. One badly thought out hateful tweet can end them. For average people like me, I can say whatever without worrying because I'm not important enough to draw attention.

      Ok to break it down simply, to invoke people to violence is not free speech but a term called "call to action" for example when you have some clerics preaching and telling to you kill the infidels or someone for example to says kill Jews or any other group of people that's a call to action and you can be prosecuted, this applies in US aswell.
      Free speech which in US is protected by constitution but not in UK, for example i can say I dont like x, y, z for whatever reason. I have freedom to say it regardless if it upsets someone or not. It doesn't mean it is right or encouraged but at the same time you wont go to jail for it.
      Persons right to speak should not be limited by someone else's perceived offence!

      @Echodolly6 Před 4 lety

      @@RedMachine1 I have that same right to say I don't like x y z. I have the freedom to scream it from the rooftops here in the UK. What I can not say is "I don't like xyz, lets go kill him" it's the direct threat of violence that is illegal, not the fact I said I dislike xyz.

    There’s no such thing as a cognie accent.. I think you’re thinking of the cockney accent? Which isn’t the accent Stormzy has. He has more of a south London accent.
    Boris is England’s current prime minister, kind of an equivalent to an American president. He’s the equivalent of the republican of America, the rich and racist people love him but the poor and young people hate him.
    Stormzy is known to be really humble, in London at least. Before he got big, he used to buy a car trunk full of trainers and give them out to under privileged kids in his old neighbourhood. He has his own book/publishing brand now (Merky Books) and he recently sponsored scholarships to 2 under privileged black kids to Cambridge, which is one of the top universities in the UK.
    Fun fact: Idris Elba is a cameo in this music video at 1min 46sec.

Japanese cars made for the US have a different spec than the rest of the world, in the UK (and Ireland where I'm from) we have imports straight from Japan (Japanese Domestic Market). It helps that we drive on the left side of the road, like a lot of island nations.
    So the car is a Nissan Silvia, which is the exact same as the 240sx, just that it had the Japan/UK spec engine and the steering wheel is on the other side. Useless fact of the day 😂

We got a lot of incredible artists in the uk, check out ‘Aitch’, ‘Dave’, ‘Akala’, ‘Wretch 32’... there’s loads more too. Also ‘Fire in the booth’ which is a bit like the UK equivalent of Sways ‘five finger of death’. It’s pretty good. Most of the big drill/grime/hiphop/jungle/garage artists have done something big on there. And yeah, we’ve got a lot of accents in the uk. ☺️

      In terms of politics, the UK conservatives are barely more right than the mainstream Democratic party (think Clinton type, not Bernie). Obviously theres some exceptions, but for example Boris was a big supporter of gay marriage and allowing homosexuality to be taught in schools.
      Not saying he hasn't said some suspect/dodgy things, just interesting how different US/UK politics are. Even the most traditional conservatives (like Mogg) dont necessarily agree with abortion but also dont want to ban it.

    My guess for how he filmed in London tourist areas. If you need parts of London for shooting a video or film production, usually they have a small window in the summer between 4-5am where they can close roads at certain intervals without shutting down the city. Hence it never looking like it's the middle of the day for the bridge shots, either early morning light or night. The opening sequence for 28 days later had to be shot at 4am each day to have the empty streets.

    So to simplify how accents work in the Uk it is down to the county (state) you come from they is 48 counties in just England alone and each county could have up to 4 accents depending on if the person is from the North, East, West or South of that county. Ps ‘Most Brit will not know past 10 accents in there own country’ also Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland have counties so you will probably never get all the accents in the Uk
