Good reaction, a lot of people have to get used to the vocoder on the clean vocals. Didn't seem to bother you. Fits well with the electronic part of the sound.
They are great fun. Some kind of Electronicore.

I have suggested slightly older songs as they replaced one of the unclean vocalists and the new one sounds quite different. So to see how similar they sound live you might want to compare versions with the same line up.

If it was the list I dropped you that you referenced, and it might not have been as I am sure you get plenty of suggestions, then I would really recommend Broken By The Scream that I think was on the list. They are kinda like Passcode or Hanabie in some ways, except with crack.

Yeah when it comes to the vocoder i think im just a little more adjusted to it because i listen to electronic music on occasion. and also vocoded youtube memes. general youtube brainrot i guess lmao. it did kinda catch me off guard a little bit but the song has so many dynamics, that it didn't feel to standout-ish to me. On that note, thank you for the suggestions as well!

This is my favorite song by Passcode. The change ups are all over the place. If you like this you need to listen to Idol Riot by MAZE. They are another Japanese metal idol group with some insanely harsh vocals. You definitely need to check out Broken By The Scream too as mentioned in another comment. They are a shock to a new listener
welcome to passcode. They are very dynamic. More of passcode. Try the live one, i reccomend "passcode - seize approaching brand new era"
PassCode goes pretty pure metalcore for their game tie-in songs like this song, Flavor of Blue, or MYTH. They also go pretty pure pop for their anime OPs which are Ray and Willshine. If you want a more standard song try Spark Ignition or Freely.
