- So, XDefiant's newest play test launches tomorrow and with it being so long since our last play session, what all has changed? Today, the XDefiant team rolled out patch notes for the upcoming playable build tomorrow and let us know the important changes. While it's not like a game changing amount of significant changes, there's enough here I think to warrant a discussion. The big stuff, as we've mentioned is that of the networking and social systems in place which are a bit less flashy than new content and features. So as we go along, drop your thoughts on what you think of these adjustments made to the build and what we'll see this weekend. If this test goes good, how great would it be if they just released the game like a week later? It won't happen but that would be fantastic. But on the same note, if the test goes great, why not release it soon instead of summer?
i already cancelled my fortnite crewpack subs as soon as they announced play test :D it'd be a dream come true for a may release especially if cod really does come to gamepass mid june :D xdefiant needs to set its foot before that for sure

I'll hop back in and give it a shot. I had fun in the earlier betas, and even though I'm still feeling that they missed the boat on the launch, I'm hoping the game can succeed. With Gulf War coming out this fall, XD is fighting an uphill battle.
The game looks cool and vibrant.

Do other people have notice that they still haven't fix the main problem? And that is sometimes when you shoot some of the bullets don't register that you hit him last beta I could tell when I was using the sniper I just thought that I didn't got a one shot kill but it just didn't registering and now it look like they still didn't fixed it

It has no eomm or sbmm in non ranked playlists. In ranked, it’s not even close to cods scale. Very tuned down just for beginning players.

They already said they likely aren't going to do it, as they dont want to look 100% like a rip off of call of duty as they do want their game to have its own unique identity.
But they also said they might try something simular but not exactly lile how cod handles kill/score streaks.
And they already are facing dmca/copyright claims by Activison/Call of Duty as we speak. As thats why they had so many delays between the last playtest as they were dealong with that and trying to fix their game so those issues go away.
They don't need another reason for Activison to come back for another round.
Why though? Killstreaks just take away from actual gunfights and ruin the flow of a game

It didn’t seem anymore buggy than any of the cod games in the last beta. I don’t see why it got turned down from going live.

Bit concerned the Hit detection and desync is a "Still working on this" comment. It was terrible in the previous beta's. I hope they have done enough.
SBMM, bundles, shipment 24/7 ,removal of prestige system are the reason cod is so stale and unenjoyable

*nearly all new maps having horrible map design, the spawn system is broken, many weapons are unbalanced, ping/lag is a joke, every game since MW19 looks the same
And not stopping hackers steal your email and linking their platform getting you banned. And trying to just change an old email that is deactivated to your current one is basically “sorry we can’t find your account, thanks activision team” 🏳️🌈HACTIVISION spec ops. They are so trash it’s ridiculous
Saying bundles and battle passes are an issue is so small minded. Loot boxes and season passes were much worse than what we have now. The game just sucks.
Jumped on for a few rounds at launch. I love it, but at the same time, it feels like it's missing something. Also feels like some of the cheating is already ramping up. Movement feels quicker but directional movement doesn't feel consistent. Still enjoying it all the same

Servers still offline.....what's the point of having it for 2 days when the 1st day is only half the day availability....also you can't just search the server test game....you have to go through steps just to even find it its annoying. ....playing the game now and it just feels wierd and very slow....ttk is super slow

The map has the wrong dates as 4/19/2023 - 4/21/2023.
I realize this is a Ubisoft image problem, not a you problem. While completely irrelevant to anything gameplay wise, it does worry me such a glaring, simple mistake already.
I have more faith in Ubisoft than that, however. Here's to hoping! 🥂

300 days later and nearly nothing new but still a lot of bugs. The netcode problem must be horrible if it‘s still a problem to this day. Tom Henderson must be right with all the chaos behind closed doors. I hope the game survives Ubisoft

I hope they give us cracked out movement. The movement from current title is very satisfying. Everything else, not so much. But yes also, no sbmm, small to medium maps, variety of guns and attachments. For me it all starts with the movements. If we feel clunky and slow and cant execute things like jump and drop shots. Then it will be a big turn off.
