A few years ago, I was at the airport to fly home to see my family for Christmas. I was in the bar having a drink and chatting with two college students who were heading to Florida for winter break. Then this song came on and we all got lost in our thoughts. By the time the song ended, the two young men were teary eyed. They cancelled their flights and went home to be with their families. What a loving gesture to their moms. I think I smiled all the way to Texas. Merry Christmas everyone.
No matter how many time's i hear "christmas shoe's" and "christmas carol" i have to choke back the tear's!...it's very very sad that both song's are reality all over the world, and not just around christmas time!...God bless us all in these difficult time's that are coming!...we all should be doing the right thing to help those who are much less fortunate than we are, don't look passed them or stick your nose's in the air, it could very well be you or your family who are in that same position 1 day!....merry christmas
Lost my sister November 10th 2021. She was my best friend. She loved the Lord so much and always showed love to everyone she met. I've always wanted to be like her in that way.....I will do my best to honor her memory. See you soon, sis. Love this song sooo much.

My mom passed away when I was 21 she was ill since I she was a child. She had 3 open heart surgeries. She was my best friend. She was 48 when she passed. I found out I had colon rectal cancer when I was 48. I was an only child and I have 5 children and 3 grandchildren. I want my kids to to know Mom loves them so much.
My mom passed a month and a half ago she was a heavy woman that has been in a wheelchair for over 20 years but before she went to be with God she worked really hard to lose weight and did when I hear this song I know that my mom would never be able to wear dancing she's but I do know if I would have gave her a pair she would have tried Christmas won't be a good one this year but songs like this puts love and a smile in my Hart thank you for this song

I understand how you feel...I lost my dad September 30 2019 just two days after my youngest daughters birthday...what the saddest part is, is that she probably wont remember him but he absolutely loved his grandbabies and enjoyed every minute of it as well as we did with him...we know hes in a better place and his suffering is no more and we will see him again one day...we keep his memory alive by talking about him and showing her pictures of him or telling her who he is when she sees a picture of him...

Back 2005 my lost my mom Christmas dad she loved Christmas so much she been sick for awhile. We watch slip away so fast she died on her favorite holiday when I heard this song that day I cry cry it like song just for her we lost mother dad lost his wife and best friend as she was sister aunt granny she love a lot people that knew my mom she one heck of lady. I have hard time but it gets easier each year I decated this song to her in heaven

I understand how you feel...I lost my dad September 30 2019 just two days after my youngest daughters birthday...what the saddest part is, is that she probably wont remember him but he absolutely loved his grandbabies and enjoyed every minute of it as well as we did with him...we know hes in a better place and his suffering is no more and we will see him again one day...we keep his memory alive by talking about him and showing her pictures of him or telling her who he is when she sees a picture of him...

My cousin’s has cancer right now she’s like a aunt to me as she grew up living with my grandma. And one of my aunts died of cancer when she was only 15 in December. So this song and the movie hit home for me.
