That's a huge NO! 40 dollar you can buy a good game on Steam that is complete! This is crazy. Boycott is the only answer! If they want us to spend money for years in this game, they should make things more acessible.

Very true i dont know what happened to mff most of the characters have same effects skills etc. Where did every character's unique powers and ability? :( i just wish it was like marvel avengers alliance so many unique powers and abilities that only a character has

Yes and? I hope the next time they make it actually exclusive so the players who support the game get a reward that F2P players can't have. That will entice players to (if possible) become atleast low spenders and give us years more of MFF.

Still trying to get that one Rachel bio to unlock her. I got Prof X and Abomination back to back once those were the only time I got any of those characters. I only started getting Gambit and x-24 bios after I maxed out their uniforms. That chest is bull shit. It would be preferable to remove it completely. That would be a far less disrespectful action for them to take.

This is a game where there are so many characters that you actually don’t need a $40 transcended. Pretty sure if I looked at your account I could find a bunch of other shit you can work on. I’m bellj4665 if you want to look at mine. This game is almost a decade old. If they weren’t adding new stuff and stupid shit to buy then that would be bad. The game would die like Alex made a video about Strike force. You can’t bitch about everything.

All these characters are super mid and will not be changing the meta unfortunately. Looks like a buffer update for Deadpool and Wolverine and the summer days update.

I will skip pvp modes in this game for 6months especially time line battle because as a f2p is soo much hard to compete with players like having brilliant ctp and 25./. Pierce even if i play manually no difference nowadays im hating this game 🎯 i dont know why bcoz its bored

My three theories as to why Franklin Richards cost $40 (and only one of them seems true) is maybe emblems might be too op, so to control this they don't want every player to have strong buffs right out the bat. Second theory is because they added goated rewards for the emblem collection, they are limiting how fast players acquire them so they put a huge paywall to prevent this. My last and more possible theory is that it's typical Netmarbel greedy mofos looking for quick cash from whales

While I have spent $20 each season for seasonal uniforms, I feel like an additional $40 for part of a game mode is unreasonable and Net Marble is just getting greedy trying to milk the few people that will spend that much. I wonder what % of players will actually spend this much for this? Hopefully they give a discount on Black Friday...

I haven’t played MFF in years but still loving Cynicalex. I play MCOC now and it fits my personal preferences. MFF is great for collecting characters and trying to do as much damage as possible. MCOC is more about the skill of matching characters for specific fights and doing well in each fight. Both have their pros and cons. I still dig checking out how MFF is doing. Still going strong

The worst part is this is the first one that means there will be more saga themes added later in game and THERE WILL BE 40$ SAGE PACK attached to each of them

What would be the harm of a crystal option, even if that's 4500 crystals? Not enough time spent on this...
They've claim that the started Heroic Quests will get the refund, so I'm as F2P more willing to risk it now and buy 750 Heroic Quest for Wave to unlock her and upgrade her with tickets (and possibly get some crystal refund) rather than spending 1500 crystals later on.
And Danger Room characters are available all the time in store, but were never discounted - even Black Friday - so spending 300 Energy everyday to have a 0.1% chance for Franklin is even worse then it was for Rachel, as she was gate keeping for us getting Maddie.

I'm not too keen on a semi-paywall character. The thing is, at best, Franklin is just a support character for the F4 characters, so he doesn't seem that meta breaking for most people. However, with his artifact, he could make a pvp focus F4 team quite busted. It will still depend on how good they are with this update. But yeah, based on this update, this is more for season players / whales.
Yeah patch notes make it hard to really determine if this is a value add or not. I'm holding out hope until I i actually see the content. I love the Boycott fapping already lol

Honestly, I may just stop playing. This year they seem to be focusing a lot of characters towards pvp, where it's almost impossible to compete without brilliant ctps and all that.
I never played the game for the pvp, and in terms of pve the game has become really stale and boring
As a pvp player, we felt this way when the last few years PvE players got so much while AC and timeline were not touched. I understand the frustration but quitting as soon as the rest of us finally get our patience rewarded is kinda cringe.
I don't mean your opinion is cringe or you wanting to not spend your time NOT enjoying a game being cringe, the fact you posted here like everyone would feel bad for you is cringe. Just wanted to make sure I didn't have anyone misunderstand my opinion.

I think one of the next multiverse saga story is about infinity warps centered. They are really following the pool and weapon hex is there. The semi f2p female mutant hero is coming!
I forget Crystal and She-Hulk also could get benetifs since both has F4 uniform. But unfortunately both uniform is weak. So it's not like you really want to pair them with Franklin and Valeria.
Gotta hand it to NM to screw a jam packed patch note with a bunch of BS and ruin it with their greediness when it has a 6month or more worth preparations for long waited "new content"
They ran out of idea they start puttin packs and deals in the patch notes💀 (they already post a bunch of that sh*t on announcements tab in ratio to actually player friendly announcement)
Epic Quest cost more… you have to farm and build characters and some are pw like Colossus. I’m not put off by this. Not sure if I’ll buy until I see what’s he can do. I have enough uni hero’s. Just T4’d Thor and he’s clearing Dorm in 90 sec.

It was all good until i saw that there's a fucking emblem chest. That's just 4-5 days for whales to be done with it and 95% of the player base will suffer because emblem bonuses are insane when added up

Today I spent some 1750 crystals by mistake to buy Scarlett uniform. My touch screen purchased it when it was top of my earphone cable. Lol what to do? I was saving it for sentry. Now I have 1200 crystals left. Can I get 2000 by the next sentry uniform discount arrives
Man I thought Reed Richards would be a good PVE character a good competition for Gladiator for Combat Hero Male in ABX and WBL.
But he does not have any ABX/ABL cancels, except Paralysis. That is a big let down for me.
At this point I feel like all new characters and uniforms should be pretty powerful and useful. There's enough characters that still suck giant Cockasaurus Rex balls and haven't seen a uniform or buff in the last decade. What use do they have besides shadowland, if that? Netmarble should at least overhaul shadowland like crazy and make it somehow fun, because most players probably use about 10-15 characters max.

i think the whole fantastic four family work well in otherworld battle and somehow in timeline battle
Franklin’s artifact looks like it will be required for the F4 to be PvP viable, but even so I’m not sure even Reed + Sue + Franklin will be a truly viable 3 person squad for Timeline…mayyybe that could work in AC?
The problem I see in Otherworld is that even with the current set of buffs and bans favoring the F4 explicitly as Human Super Heroes, they will still have to be good enough to overcome this season’s top meta grouping based around Warriors of the Sky + filler support. My suspicion is that if they are good enough, they won’t ACTUALLY replace WotS, but instead act as the complementary jelly to that peanut butter. So a team like Blur Dragon + Sunbird + Franklin + Sue + Reed will emerge as the top this set of restrictions.

I think the multiverse saga's system is perfect. They need more money for keep up so i don't have any problem with this. Emblem system and multiverse saga is like dispatch and i think it's good. But the main problem is we don't have any new game mode like abx abl or new gbr. But i think they made that perfect. Yes there will be some problem but it's okey.

They introduced a gamemode which locked behind Money, you pay for this and play. This is a first try if no one complaint about this then in near future there will be more paid gamemode they will introduce.

Something tells me the F2P boss will drop mostly materials and the same crap emblems over and over. And the paid boss will have a slightly better chance but the real way to get emblems will be gambling. Which is my issue. PVP is sooo hard to keep up with even as a mid to low level spender let alone free to play.
On my free to play account my ok PVP team just gets clapped by full T4 teams with Sentry, Surfer, Thanos, Madelyn, Jean, Wolverine Etc on freaking silver or gold tier fights.
But even if I never played PVP again which has kind of been my attitude towards it for the last year. I am very nervous that they are introducing these mega buffs to players accounts while the poor peasants are now even farther behind. Because they can only get like one crappy emblem once every few days.
Again I will have to wait and see how things go. But seeing how they have shifted to being ultra greedy lately and it being introduced in an update where 1/4 of the content is hidden behind a $40 paywall. I worry that that $40 paywall is only just a taste of what is to come.
They are already mentioning that this is only part one of this multiverse thing. Who is to say that they don’t come out with another one that’s $50-$70 with two exclusive characters and exclusive emblem collections that make your account have a huge advantage compared to everyone else who didn’t buy it.
All of this is hypothetical. And I refuse to panic just yet. However I can’t lie…this update has me a bit nervous for the future of this game. They have already proven to me time and time again that they only care about updates if they are expensive and cost the players a ton whether that be in materials, crystals, or actual cash.
I can buy elden ring or GOW ragnarok for that money doug, and plus they make him grossly broken as a support just to try to tease us
