Wouldn't be surprised if the devs have a crystal purchase option for the deluxe pack as a backup in the game already for an absurd amount like 10,000 crystals. Show the players only the 40$ paywall option and then add the originally intended crystal option to make them feel like they won their little boycott and the devs are listening 😂😂😂

What the developers are doing is bringing a scenario so psychotic that any other absurdity becomes "understandable". Since the 8th year anniversary they only add 50 to 300 crystal per 2 MONTH in owb mode, that's cringe for me and also now that mode is untouchable for any players who dont built maximun newest meta pvp character for maximun reward, and then when they announced to improve daily reward which much player and i hope for crystal amount increasing ,they dont do that. I admire the effort that NetMarble made to bankrupt this game, it wasn't enough to craft cards, reforge ctp, seasonal costumes. Now, plus this paid content and 40 dollars, if they want to end the game so much, just close the server and that's it.

However, i feel like you guys are getting upset over the wrong thing, i feel as though you guys should be upset of the exclusive rewards and boss instead of franklin. And to add to this, you can get franklin from dimension mission chest and well, might be tedious its still grindable. And you can argue that franklin is a must have cause he helps reed be viable for pvp although, that is true it still dosent negate the fact that there is still wolverine available who is much more better and about to get a uniform soon. Additionally, another reason for players to get franklin is to have fun but, like as stated you can get franklin through f2p means it does take long however but point is, it is still doable rather than not. With all that being said, players are getting upset over the wrong thing cause all i’ve been seeing are comments like “40 dollars for a character is insane”. Which is true its insane but, it completely ignores the idea of why its such a bad move from the devs which is not the character (said character is not needed unless the reasons i gave above) but rather its the exclusive content and rewards.

The greed of this update is even more blatant than the Ultimates update! Give us a 6500 crystals or a much reduced cash option, $15 American would be an easier price to swallow, and would be more affordable to those in countries with lower incomes in comparison to first world countries.
I feel like this would be upto legal scrutiny in some countries. For example the purchase popups, is similar to why fortnite got huge fines and was forced to change the item shop.

This was supposed to be a big update for me as this team is special and they go ahead and make it a whale update. Such a dissapointment in the Devs.
With 40 dollars I buy a game at full price for my playstation or xbox, which will last for years and is not just "a portion of the content" but all the content to be explored, and this value covers future updates and the entire experience of infinite hours and possibilities that I will have with the game. In addition, it can also be about 3 months of PsPlus or Xbox Live... In short, make your choices but don't be fooled by predatory acts like these
Not happy with this update. Yesterday when update landed i just play first chapter in 10 minutes and after that i just close the game. With $40 in Romania an student can pay his electrical bill if he stays in a studio apartament. It's to much for 20 minutes of content.

None of the stuff mentioned is my issue with the pack at all... Here's the kicker: Heroic Quest got smashed to create the new saga thing. If heroic quest only costed 750 crystals (about $7), then why is the replacement not available for crystals? Furthermore, why jump from 7 bucks to 40? Mind u that HQ offered 3 characters only obtainable thru that avenue, while the saga offers up 1 (Valeria is free like Luke Cage, Jessica, Iron Fist etc). The rewards in HQ were technically better too.
I believe because they will add more and more storyline chapters/books whatever that will also be pay to unlock. I don't think they should have done away with heroic quest because it was a mode where we waited for so long for them to fix then they fixed it plus more rewards bios and then half cost for char builds during that update patch. Now they just took away the updated rewards that they implemented for us to get and gave everyone the middle finger. 😡 Remember when they made that question on improvements to make to the game this(Heroic quest) was on there they patched it some months after that. They keep giving and taking away. That is not improvements to the game. I'm starting to not like playing/spending on this game as these updates become worse and worse giving better rewards and missions and taking away the better rewards that NETMARBLE had us fill out all that for what? Give and take is just bad. Besides crystals are mostly paid for anyways so why is there no option to buy certain things with crystals? Exsample (like this so called new content) could be crystal paid, makes me want to stop spending. What was it like 4 or 5 characters that are decent 3 that really stand out this year out of all the updates this year since Anniversary? Yeah I'm losing faith in the devs and the changes they are making to this game. Seems like all they want now is just 🤑 on or from a great pile of 💩. This new game mode(content) is just dumb as ever. I'm ignoring this game mode entirely because i dont see a value in adding another item to boost stats. I honestly dont know what i am grinding for in this game. This game has too many components that go into building characters. I even forgot swords were in the game. Give me a game mode that i can use all my characters. Idk... give me a tower defense or capture the flag game mode for $40... Anything that allows me to use my built characters.

This is definitely not worth $40 they should make half the cost of an epic quest cuz it is identical to the premium missions in epic quest just made to be more important for account building and yes that emblem box needs a pity for sure. While they are at it raise the percentage for dimension missions bios for danger room to at LEAST 1-2% maybe 3% since they all mostly suck or aren’t t3 or transcended
The content could be Pay with Money, for Players that want to go Faster then the others, but the Developers must have ALWAYS the Alternetive for Free that takes more time and work. Thats the smart way to do thinks and gain money and Players. 😎

In Brazil is around R$250. The game basically became a collectible thing. All we do is spend days trying to improve characters, now when we could finally have a different game mode, they thought it was a great idea to pay for it. Paying with crystals doesn't make sense either, 6k crystals for Jean is insane, considering you can't farm crystals that easy. I've been on and off with this game for years, but now i've dropped it for real.
After 8 years, I finally uninstalled it, couldn't take their shits anymore 😌

If they want to fix this, make the content cost 6,600 crystals like an epic quest, and make the epic quest 1500-3000 crystals so they’re more accessible to players who grind, and those with more money are willing to pay for the crystals of this new content because the epic quest are cheaper.

I'd go for Doom battle for 2500 cristals and the full Franklin pack for 5000 cristals.
I'm usually cool with most stuff price wise, however, the ROI on this 40 USD minus tax pack has diminshing returns. At that point if you're going to charge, give Franklin Richards as lvl 70/transcended without us wasting more materials (which are still to a degree bottlenecked). There's plenty that could *BE* tweaked/fixed etc. However, at this point, the phrase "par for the course" seems on brand for NM Monster.
As we can easily see in this comment section, one of the issues here is that the exchange rate can turn those "40 bucks" into a completely prohibitive price in other countries. Here where I live, unlocking this char costs the same as my electric and internet/mobile bills COMBINED. But, honestly, my main issue with this update is that the 40 bucks char is just the cherry on top of a trend that dates way back to the effing Gwenpoole uni. I totally get the whales need for exclusivity and faster access to new content, but the f2p and low spenders got locked away from most content in this game... while we are here discussing whether farming this game mode is worth it, I'm still trying to get Silver Surfer to T4 and hoarding crystals in hopes that Reed's uni is good so I can buy it in NOVEMBER. I've been a stark stasher (and the occasional crystal vault + dollar deal shop) for 9 years and I finally managed to get 25% pierce like two months ago - and don't get me started at those weird swords that I built just because it was free to do so but don't even have the willpower to try and get my head around it...
That 10k crystals idea i already Twitted long ago. And it's ok bro i know your situation, but this is just a beginning if they see that no one complening about this system there will be more around the corner just waiting to kick us from the game. So it's finall the time to say good bye. 👍👍👍

They also messed up story mode 8-2, they reversed it to before auto play. You need to stay near 2 devices to clear it and auto play just rushes to the end of the arena and runs into a wall cause the devices are still there
Bruh, I found this yesterday lol... Captain Marvel was just running into the wall on auto... Turned out they restored the ORIGINAL anti matter recovery (those stations were on a few boards when the game mode first premiered) stipulations. Never even have us a heads up

You use the material to a certain level then at like every tenth level you use the kit and it gains a star.
I just noticed that they deleted the Heroic quest, but they didn't give us back the reward from the other game mode, so those energies and stuff are vanished in the air.

Don't forget in Support Shop, the new max is 400, up from 200. Found out thr hard way when I needed exactly 200 bios for somebody's uniform and got double that amount. Kind of needed the left over Support Tokens for other characters.
