Confidence Crisis | quick run down of the last 12 months.

This is a quick recap video of the last year, the reason why I took a bit of a hiatus from posting on CZcams. I had every intention of 2023 being our year, I had big goals of competing in the Cotswold cup among other competitions and adventures.
But as is often the way with horses, after a freak accident at a training camp I came to the crashing realisation something wasn’t right. It was almost like it all happened at the right time, I can say this now I’m through the other side.
A busted up face and a broken hand later I was grounded for 4 months, it was a good opportunity to build on our relationship and to work on things that may have been previously neglected. Although I struggled with my mental health initially, I began opening myself up to accepting help. I developed a new mindset and a new found appreciation for my horse and our partnership.
Slowly but surely over the last 12 months we’ve grown and learnt together, and now finally we’re at a point where we are both feeling more confident. We’re not going to be taking on badminton any time soon, but never say never.
