In this video I bath and prep Tony for his first clip of the season. Bathing the day before clipping is super important, not only does it ensure you get the absolute best clip possible, it doesn't ruin your blades or clippers! Great vlog Meg, you need photos and vids cause I am DYINGGG to see Tony whizz round showjumping. Shame about the XC, but there will always be another day. Well done lovely! I know it's frustrating about the cross country but look at all those positives too take away! No problems loading, great dressage score and clear show jumping! Perhaps your worry about the ground and some of the questions on the course transferred to Tony a little bit but the more you guys go out and get experience the better and better you will both become!
Totally agree, I think I let my worries about the ground being hard and it being hot transfer into Tony! He really wasn’t himself and usually eats up the cross country! A bit more training and we’ll be back out again soon
Shame about the cross country but you are doing fabulously, can’t wait to see your next event.
