These guys are literally the ones that keep our cities functioning. Hats off to all the maintenance people in the world.
So true. Totally underappreciated. If it weren't for workmen like this, we'd have problems!
The stench must be horrible and having to deal with that on a daily basis.
Although true, it's just a job that anybody can do, just most of us chose not too!
@@MickeyDJ1 just curious, how do you earn a living?
@@MK-xl9tt Well through various roles throughout my life, but currently (and probably finally) I work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. I'm guessing you're searching for my possible privileged status?
Moment of respect to Jenny for editing the videos. Realize that editing includes watching a pool of sewage circle around while waiting for the guys to walk back and forth from the truck. Not enough love given. Great work as usual!
So true! Seems to put me off my lunch most days.. 🤢
@@TheDrainUnblockers lol
@@TheDrainUnblockers And looking forward to a hot shower?
@@TheDrainUnblockers what kind of things have you found?
Absolute props to Jenny, especially while she was doing what she did!!! I sometimes watch these and try to figure out that aspect...but it all comes down to watching water drain off. Despite the floaters that may come through...
As an American plumber. It's fascinating to see a fellow tradesmen at work who's not only good at what they do but also enjoys it. Great video💪
Do you take a gun with you when you go to work?
@@calculator4482 👍
After watching a few of these jobs I have a lot of respect for the work you blokes do
I am so impressed how quickly you assess the clog and know how to get it drained. Who knew that cleaning sewers would be so interesting?
Love how honest he was!
Don't understand why this video has dislikes... 🤔 these kind of trades are what keep our country clean!
Keep it up ❤
‼️ On the side of your trucks the tag line could be “Your Poo is Our Business!”
I live in the US and just stumbled across you guys. I am now obsessed and have watched every video you guys have posted, at least once . It's very interesting how the sewers there are so different than the ones here. Also, everyone seems to love what they do and Andy's whistling is too funny. Keep up the good work and keep posting as many video as you can.
Your biggest fan in the US.
That is because many of the sewers are Victorian. They were built over a 100 years ago
@@paulchristopher8634 and newer ones need to be tacked on to these centuries old systems resulting in a Frankenstein’s monster of sewage systems that are, weirdly, still perfectly functional.
The men that do this work are heroes. No matter where they live or how they speak.
Right side up- heroes are police, fire, military and doctors. Not some bloke cleaning a sewer drain !!
@@larry5948 so the heroes are police huh? are you sure? the police that killed george floyd doesnt look like an hero to me and the other ones are not that much different from the "heroes" that killed george floyd
@@larry5948 Did he clean the drain without tossing his cookies, No!
That alone makes him a hero!
I'd put him & his team a long way before a Doctor by far
Nice job, but I am so truly sorry for your loss! I know how it feels to lose a favorite screwdriver, and I hope that in time, you will find a way to deal with the departure. 😌
I hope he gets it back if it was me I'd stick the drain camera down and get it back that way I hope you got it back Andy
I like that you were honest about the screwdriver, stuff happens, you need a magnet. And the cleanup, you respect yours tools and customers. Nice to see you enjoying your work.
you guys are the best. you are professional in your work as well as being cautious in how you preform your task, you never know what is in the mess you are trying to clear up. My hat is off to you.
Why is there always adverts for Cadbury’s Dark Chocolate on these videos? Offputting 😂😂
A job I'd prefer not to have BUT one that we all need to have available. My hats off to you, sir.
Serious congratulations guys on your achieving a whoping 1.3M views for this vid.... outstanding effort... you know, it is not the drains or the disappearing sewage that achieves this, it is the happy personalities of all the guys who do the work!!
Jem does seem to be the true root destroyer of the group...Andy and Joe can be just as good. Lol. Always enjoy your videos!
Good job Andy. Flowing like a river.
Love those English garden homes with nary a grass lawn to mow! Takes quite a bit of rain but community planning is the key. We have small towns like that here in the USA but not nearly enough. Totally agree that workers like The Drain Busters do a great job.
All I have to say is 'Thank God, some people want to be electricians, plumbers, welders etc'. We really need these people and they are worth what ever they charge, if they can keep us safe and secure in our homes and places of business.
I like how clean and efficient you are, job well done!
Get yourself an old speaker magnet on a piece of string to fish out lost tools .
Amazon do a super strong magnet that will lift 30kg that has a loop for attaching string. About £12.
As a bricklayer I have been known to drop tools down the cavity!
@@harveysmith100 we had apprentices with tools tied with string to theIr arms after losing one too many down the sides of engine compartments where they wouldn't be seen again until the engine was taken out next if it was! 😂
I think you did a great job and you were in a good mood whistling while you work I dont think most people in the USA would even clean up as well
Thank God someone cleans the crap off their tools! Well done sir!!
This is very interesting, thanks for sharing such a good video. Your videos are so convincing that I never stop myself from saying something about it. You’re doing a great job. Keep it up.
13:41 my fave part. Super satisfying. Click it over and over.
There's something therapeutic about watching drains unblocking
No shit.
No PUN intended? 🤣
Haha agree. I've been following these guys and also Drain Cleaning Australia. Such great content!
Still trying to get me head around the spotty van .its wicked!!👍👍
1 million views! unbelievable, thank you fellow viewers and subscribers, very much appreciated! Keep watching there is plenty more footage for you all to see! Enjoy 💩👍🪠✌️😎😁🍻
My father loved you. He was from Alabama. Sadly he passed in August of last year from brain cancer. He mentioned you every time I called to talk with him.
I just want to let you know that you gave a hardworking man something to look forward to and share in his dying days.
You guys are absolutely amazing 😊
Great video! I didn’t expect the drain to be that deep!
The snot gobbling sounded amazing through surround sound speakers.
Bet there were a few suck backs on the lumpy bits...
Lost count after 4!
Amazing how many Schoolboys watch these videos.
@@gegwen7440 um.., well.., ok I guess?
@@gegwen7440 Maybe Mersey Rod could share the analytics of school boy interactions?
Amazing the scale and quality of some of these drain systems.
As somebody who watches cleaning videos on a regular basis it still surprises me how quickly a pressure washer can blast all that schmutz off the sides of any surface.
Love the whistling!! Something soothing about it. Just enjoying your work
Really like seeing the neighborhood......
Great job! It was simple but very satisfying. I could listen to Andy whistle all day. I recognize all the songs but my brain hasnt been as sharp lately so I can't name any of them.
I'm pretty sure it was "The Entertainer"
The first one was “let’s go round again” by Louise.
That is a nice set up in your Van... good Job Mate!
Another great job.
Very cool video. Thanks for posting and have a nice day too.
I can't even imagine the bacteria and diseases you guys get into...Not enough money in the wide world for me to do this. I am glad you guys are manly enough to do it!!!
You will get more bacteria in your food.
Oftentimes there's a gush when you get your man hole unblocked deep. And most of the time it's super satisfying.
....... Got a cigarette?
Tell me about it
Hello, excelente trabalho, sua van muito organizada e um trabalho limpo, I am from Brasil.
Super satisfying. Thanks.
ton of respect to these gentlemen. cheers
It is so satisfying to watch this video awesome job.
good job must be a super satisfying job well done geeeza
Legend has it that the screw driver made it all the way to the River Thames.
Why don’t you get a boat floater key ring for your screwdrivers
Love these videos
Job well done!! Thank you for sharing. I’ve subscribed and tapped the bell icon 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
loving the "whistle while you work" man 👌😗🎶
Pride in your job mate and shows .
Very satisfying!
These guys are legendary. Top lads
This happened to me but I dropped a 18" pry bar in a manhole at night in front of a wastewater pump station . All I could do is make note of it .
That manhole was deep! 😮
Love what you doing. Very satisfying job you have. Greetings from Belgium. Dirk.
Thank you very much!
I am from the US and I love your videos watching every day sometimes I Binge watch lol am I the only one laughing at the polka dot car? Lol
The bog-pipe cleaner's motto: "Your crap is my bread and butter!"
These guys definitely earn their money.
5:16 seems like that’s not the only thing that is clogged 😄
Seriously! I was more grossed out by the sound of that than the sight of the sewer
Very smart, clean, nice!
Nice drive with a crappy manhole cover, also that homeowner will probably need to clean their drive now it’s part done 😃
What a nice bit of work.
In my part of the world you need a crew and massive expenses. Here you need a guy with some tools.
I like how you clean everything
You did a good job there mate, Cheers!
He really went to the roots of the problem there, nice job.
Mad respect for these guys. Same goes to garbage collectors. If it was not for these guys, our lives would be a mess.
The way I see it garbage men have been taking jobs away from vultures for far too long.
It's high time a long hard look be taken into the systemic oppression done to the buzzard
community and grant us the dignity we deserve. SCHMOCK!!!!!
Well done fella
Sorry, so interesting.. this man is so clean, he cleans his work up after.. love this guy!!!!
Excellent upload. Full watched and have a wonderful day. happy weekend...
Have you considered a pry bar, it's like a crow bar but flat. I use one for getting skirting boards and architraves off. Great tool
Great idea!
Nice job!
Fishy looks kinda dry out 😂😂😂😅😂😅😅nice nice video today and stay safe too 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😜
Super job, well done ….
Good work brother.
JOB well done Sir.
Awesome vid!
Thanks!
This channel is way cooler than that one guy who complains about his employees in his videos. Straight class
GOOD JOB!
Very nice job.
NICE SIMPLE SET UP
You could do with a big magnet on a line to rescue dropped items. Respect the honesty 🙂❤️
I love watching your videos I haven't seen anything from you in a while I don't know why I haven't been coming up on my phone
Good job my friend 💪💪
I like every time you walk back to your van you snort lol
Congratulations on your first video reaching 1 million views!!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🎉🎉🎉🎉🍺🍺🍺
I'm amazed how he knew the direction of the line! I'd be lost as heck
Cool vid anyone who got a spotty van like that won't worry dropping a screw driver down there lol
A pro at work
Have you ever had a customer who hasnt wanted you to use their water supply?
Good Thursday morning to you sir
you have done a lovely job a per usual a very nice person you are tooo take care xxxx debbie xxxx
I'd laugh if in a few weeks you got a 'care package' from the water board, containing your screwdriver with a map of where it was found (I bet there's some employees who watch this)...lol
Nicer to find that then pads, Johnnie's, wipes and others.... At least they get some use out of it ....
I wonder if you find it as satisfying being there unblocking these drains as we do watching them!! Must be some nasty smells. Great video!!
It's more satisfying for us than it's for them. We don't have to smell it.
@@garymurt9112 we also don’t get the hot water and feeling clean hands after accomplishing some hard work.
Totally agree. These guys and 'Drain Cleaning Australia' are my favourite CZcams channels
I always thought everything in Merseyside was on fire but you go to some really nice properties and areas.
7:57 The Entertainer by Scott Joplin. This man has class.
Glad to see fishy at the end. Thought you'd eaten the little bugger 😁
So much corn. You might want to get your own Ratty :)
No need to copy gimmicks.
need a long piece of pvc with an angled end for those deep ones!
You will have to carry a magnet round with you then the screwdriver would not escape on a watery holiday.😄
Well... not a holiday in that sense, but for eternity... until it gets lodged in a sewer pump impeller and he is sent to unblock it, it is removed by the magnetic separator at the local sewage treatment plant and sent to scrap metal
