- Hello potential WWOOFers! This video is about the days of my life as a WWOOFer / farmer over the course of 2 months and my long term wwoofing experience! Living on an organic farm for free as a WWOOFer definitely has its perks!
Being a part of WWOOF USA has been such an eye-opening experience for me. WWOOFing on an organic farm allows me to take part in the educational exchange which I love! WWOOFing allows me to eat and have access to so much nutritious food. AND... WWOOFing has allowed me to make so many great memories which I get to share with the community members and friends I make :) I mean, have you ever seen a farmer on stilts?!?

How do you choose where to go? I’m so excited to be a woofer but also fearful of the dangers that could be involved if I choose the wrong farm?
Hi There- there are so many factors I looked into prior to choosing a farm. It mostly came down to whether the farm offered the agricultural skillsets I was looking for and if it was in a region/area where I felt safe. the pizza truly was a farm scrumptious treat! WWOOF is also a great way to try farming if you are interested in trying it for a day or doing it long term :)

Hi, just wondering if this is a recent Wwoofing experience? I’m curious as to if the pandemic has affected your experience?
Hi there! Yes, this was a very recent WWOOFing experience and all my WWOOFing experiences have been WWOOFing during the pandemic and I truly have felt comfortable because I felt a part of the community during my stay. I made sure to ask the hosts questions before confirming my stay to make sure I felt comfortable visiting. There is also a filter on the WWOOF website where you can select if you are looking for hosts that require Covid- 19 vaccination :)
