I so badly want to see either:
A.) Lugi being forced to reluctantly taking Mario with him to hunt ghosts where all the Luigi's Mansion characters treat mario exactly how all the usual mario characters treat luigi
B.) Luigi gets sick of how they all treat him and joining Bowser as his unstoppable dark champion conquering the mushroom kingdom before Mario defeats him by offering him something small that calms Luigi down "turns out alla he wanted wasa chance to ridea the yohsi"
About option B: They've already made that. It's called the, "I Hate You" ROM hack.

The ending of this video was wow...I really can go for some stuffed mushrooms right about now.
Well, that joke was based on an old statement from the original SMB1's story manual, that Bowser used his black magic to turn the Mushroom People into anything, including Bricks (not brick blocks, BTW), Horsehair Plants, Stone Statues, and even Mushrooms. In the original Famicom Disk System version of the Lost Levels, the fences are replaced with Mushrooms. Perhaps, for context, they should've had a scene where those Lost Levels mushrooms are the ones Mario ate before heading to the Toad House, where he confused the Toad Child for a Super Mushroom. Funny enough, Toad's face in the first few SMBSS episodes had Toad wearing a mushroom cap that made him resemble a Super Mushroom; that color scheme would be retconned into Fire Toad in "The Fire of Hercufleas".

@7:38 this clip is funny to me simply because it's actually partially cannon. The manual for Super Mario Bros on the NES states the mushroom people were all turned in to, "..stones, bricks, field horse hair plants.." which implies all those bricks you've been smashing up could have been Toads. Further, near the end of the introduction, it states, "Mario, the hero of the story (maybe).." What if that implied Mario really isn't the hero. Why do the power-ups even have eyes to begin with? What if this entire time he's been murdering innocent people?
I know it's just a skit and all but I'm sure allot of people are glad the origin of Mario didn't go exactly exactly like that lol
