- The 2024 Festival of Italian Motorcycles (FOIM) was held in Scoresby which is south east of Melbourne, Australia. The weather was mild and remained overcast during the event. Around 160 Italian bikes turned up on the day which everyone thought was a good turnout for the first post Covid FOIM. Planning is already underway for next year!

Great day of Italian motorcycles and wonderful to relive it through your excellent video. Didn’t bring my Monster this year but next year for sure.
Thanks Mike; I got to see and hear what my old silver Desmo 450 was like. It was also good to have a tantalising glimpse of what appeared to be a Saturno or Bialbero.
Italians make the most beautiful motorbikes .. thanks for the video
Well, flip me sideways! What an absolute marveluoso gathering of stunning motorcycles. Many, many thanks for documenting and sharing, Mike!
Wishing you a bigger and better event next year. This one looked pretty good to me.
I learned Gandalf rides Italian (@ 4:29), visually hugged a long lost Morini 3 1/2, and generally appreciated so many nice bikes in one place. Eye candy for sure.
Believe it or not, I tried to organize a Festival of Italian bikes here in Yukon. Unfortunately neither of us could come that day.
Oooh, a completely original Le Mans series 3! Very cool! 😎
Great video, Mike. Thanks for sharing, mate... Also, you had a T Shirt with a Lemans 1000 in pipeline 😊
Thanks for sharing .....some superb machines on view !!!!
Howdy from Texas. I’m a big Italophile . 1992 Lemans, Ducati 750 Paso Limited.Sweet bikes brother
So many wonderful bikes on display. Thanks for sharing!
Excellent Mike. Thank you. I saw a guy in the crowd wearing a t shirt with a very cool caption. M V Agusta. Below this in smaller font - Agostini for Pope. I’m still chuckling!
Thank you for posting this, Mike. There was lots of very tasty machinery there! 👍
Superb Mike. Not a duff machine there. Great turnout. Thanks for sharing
Lots of very nice bikes, Mike. Enjoyed the video and RIDE SAFE OUT THERE!
Hermoso video del evento, dedicando cierto tiempo a cada moto, lo cual se agradece, y así poder ver bien a cada unas de ellas. Muchas gracias y Un saludo por allá.
Muchas gracias!
Looks like a great meet, Mike. Hoping to get my Griso 1200 SE out to a few Italian bike events in the UK this year.
Very nice selection of bikes turned out, can only help with the next time.
Thank you for sharing. It was a nice turnout. I wish there was another coffee van instead of just one. The queue for the coffee was at leat 30 minutes long.
Two coffee vans are planned for next year.
Wonderful, great to see all these bikes, July, I'm figuring thats your winter, In Scotland the weathers the same on a good day! In Summer......
He said "Gelato." The event took place 24 March 2024.😊
@@splodge5714 I thought it was July? Anyway its the end of March here and its cold and miserable
Love looking at Italia motorcycles, Thanks for the Video, we have our local Italian motorcycle event on the 2nd June 2024 at the Powis Arms, Lydbury North, Shropshire, England SY7 8AU (probably a bit far for you Mike) I can't wait. Something about Italia motorbikes, the way they look and sound is just wonderful and as for the thrill you get riding one, there is nothing better.
Thanks for posting unfortunately I can’t come it’s a bit to far from Switzerland however I will visit the Guzzi Museum this summer (June/July€
Right. I'm posting this comment before i watch the video. I was at this day, and I'm hoping I'm not in the background in any shots!!
Nup, didn't spot myself. I think a fair bit of this was shot before I arrived , I don't recall the Mandello being there , it may have left.
No sidecars?
Was this event affiliated with the Italian Motorcycle Festival that was held in November?
No, that event was organised by Benzina Stables. The Festival of Italian Motorcycles has been organised by various Italian motorcycle clubs over the years. This year's event was run by the Classic Italian Motorcycle Association of Australia.
So much beauty! So much awesomeness to the eyes and ears. Thank you for sharing.
Mike! Did you see any Cal ll’s?
I don't recall seeing any on the day.
