drill 2 holes in to the nut than treat it m4 and putt a small bronze piece than tighten it with setscrews and also use loctite
great ! congratulations
What is the trick for removing the rotor. Mine really doesn’t want to come out….
Do you have the link for the rubber seal. They only have PTEF seal now
Is the maximum alowed surface speed of the rubber seal enough?
The answer from the "Ceimin Official Store" chat on AliExpress was: "both is for Tesla". So no number. Same reply from Chenming. Ceimin is a store / brand owned by Chenming. I verified this with Chenming.
3:01 is it both seals of gear box or on the right side for the rotor seal?
Both shown seals are options (rubber and teflon) for replacing the broken rubber seal in the video. It seals the "shaft grounding ring chamber" from the "gear box chamber": see here for explanation: czcams.com/video/I_T-djy3TqI/video.html
Isn't there a torque spec on the nut?
My nut only has number 1002888-00-A. I did not find a torque spec on the nut.
@@diyEVguy Maybe that's why the nut loosened because it was not torqued properly at the factory. If it indeed does not have a torque spec would be interesting.
Are you doing your own solidworks?
Onshape.
