We have Pavlova in Australia on Christmas too - so it's technically both - you get a point for that one! 🎅❄🎄☃️⛄

In Sweden we also get a visit from Santa at the 24th and open our presents in the evening. "Merry Christmas" in Swedish is "God Jul"! ^^

One of our traditions is breaking oplatki (Christmas wafer): everyone gets an oplatki, and you go around to everyone, say 'Merry Christmas & Happy New Year', break off a bit of their oplatki, & eat it.

In Dutch we wish people Vrolijk Kerstfeest (Merry Christmasparty, literally translated), or it can be Fijne Kerst (Nice Christmas)

Estonians get that gift receiving tradition from Finland! Santa lives here, at Korvatunturi (though you can go meet him at Rovaniemi. No he does not live on the North Pole.) he brings Finnish kids their gifts in person on the evening of Christmas Eve :D
    Hyvää joulua! ♥

"Can you say it in Garlic" hahahaha XD
Well, if you wanna know how to say it in Welsh, it's Nadolig Llawen! Merry Christmas, you two. :)

    In French: Joyeux Noel
Also I'm Canadian, grew up in Ontario (Ottawa, to be specific, on the border of Quebec) - but my dad is from Quebec. He was always very insistent that we open Xmas presents on Xmas day because that's what his family does, despite my mom's German heritage (they open presents on Xmas eve).

In portuguese we say Feliz Natal, in french it's Joyeux Nöel (that one might be wrong, i've been studying french for only a couple of months)
