      Unfortunately, many of us have worked jobs in which such a response for a ridiculous person like that might get us fired. Many companies hold their employees hostage to encouraging this insanity or lose their livelihood. It's easy for a lot of people to just go along with it because of the threats and bullying.

She's probably been coddled enough that she thinks she can keep getting away with it. At least in a classroom, you're rarely under obligation to pay any attention to the other students or interact with them, so if it were me, I would intentionally ignore her entirely to deny her the attention she wants so badly.

    The "god is my pronoun" chic is basically admitting what sane people already knew - it's a power trip. "I want to be special. I am not like you. I am _more_ than you. I am _in control_ of you. _I am your god._ "
    I also find it very telling that she makes a point of "I don't care if that offends you" to people who either believe in God or just people who don't _want_ to call this random lady a god, yet if we dare to call the random lady a lady, _her_ offense is all that matters and we will be condemned for offending her. Interesting.
    I also wonder if she's aware "god" isn't exactly a gender-free connotation and is traditionally masculine - hence why we have the feminine variant "goddess".

      I've thought this for a while. They operate on emotions and not facts. So it's impossible for them to debate without a cheat. No one wants to offend anyone, so if you put some bass in your voice and announce that you've been mispronouned or whatever, you've tripped them up and they go into a kind of apology mode.

    If I had to stop and correct myself to conform to someone's pronoun, I would definitely just stop talking to that person. I would not go out of my way to insult anyone, however, I also will not participate in someone's distorted reality. Back in Psychiatry classes, neologism (coining new words by a patient) used to be a sign of schizophrenia so im baffled by all these people. They obviously need help.

      I have a background in that field. I can’t diagnose of course I’m not a doctor, however, after working with a lot of mentally I’ll children/youth.. the kinds of terms that come to mind that these people could have are:
      Narcissism, biopolar, and personality disorders.
      Nothing wrong with these disorders, or people they are clearly mentally ill, but this stuff they thrive with the level of control
      And feeling superior to others you notice a lot of them will try to
      “Educate” everyone around them in a really passive aggressive way too.. it’s creepy.

    In college I had a professor that was adamant that we all addressed her as "Doctor" since she had, after all, obtained her PhD. If someone acxidentally called her "Miss" or "Mrs" or, God forbid, "Professor" she would literally interupt the person and shout, "IT'S DOCTOR!" Needless to say, we all hated her. Lol.

    If somebody pronounces my name wrong I don't stop them and tell them the right pronunciation and then ask them to apologize and go forward from there with the right pronunciation.     Here’s what I don’t understand about this whole pronoun thing. When you are referring to them by a pronoun. ANY PRONOUN. They are never around because you don’t use a pronoun besides “you” when you talk to them directly so how the fuck would they know that you are “misgendering” them.

      There are a few situations that you’d use pronouns in the presence of someone.
      “Tom doesn’t have a partner for the project. Would anyone volunteer to work with him?”
      Definitely situational though and for the most part, yeah, the person you’d be talking about isn’t around to be offended.

    These "nonbinary" people are always chicks. I've, to date, never seen a boy pretend to not have a gender. I used to have colorful hair and a pierced nose before these people ruined that look by being crazy. And honestly I regret my tattoos only because of these people. Back in the day, we were just seen as weird. Now, because of them, we're seen as leftist lunatics. If you currently have pink hair, tatts, and piercings, people automatically assume you are a part of this crap. I have taken out my nose ring and have a natural hair color.     The problem with multiple pronouns being assigned by a person to themselves, is you never know which one is the correct one to use in the moment to keep them from being offended, which is offense to me. So until "It" can figure out what it is, I'll just refer to it as an "It" so I don't feel offended.

    I had a friend that had a trans person as a roommate. (He) went by they/them. I couldn't even say 'you'. It was mind bendingly difficult to carry on a conversation with them. Nice enough person that I really didn't have an issue with, but jeeze, if you can't even communicate w/o them getting torqued out of shape for a stupid pronoun, what's the point in trying?

    I can't help but notice that everytime they tall about the pronoun and put it in sentences they are never normal sentences. Mir went to the store. It is always these positive and amazing sentences like Mir was hanging out with friend and friend though MIR was the most amazing and awesome person they ever knew and will ever know. It's all framing. It's all gas lighting. Each pronoun doesn't have its unique thing they are just the same. Mir is Per and etc. This is one big giant grift

      Interesting observation. I suspect that they are being affected by nanotech (and other factors) and an educational system that needs to be put to rest immediately. This is obviously not how these people actually feel (why the need for some special secondary language - to prove their existence or identity, therefore making it even less meaningful.

      @@Thaijler I say gas lighting in the aspect of the framing and how if you control language, you can control narratives, which means you can control votinf. You pound in that buzz terms mean good or bad and then use them to describe bad things for Republicans and good things for democrats.

    Every one of them uses "me", "I", and "my". I get to choose the pronouns I use when speaking of these people. I would use "you" when speaking to one or more of them. In other words, I will not comply.

    I just took out my 7th edition of Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary published in 1963 and ne/nem/nir etc etc etc are not in there. In fact, neopronoun is not in there.
