Its pronounced Jizzah. Rza is Rizza. Salute to you for learning. I respect all the young dudes that go back and listen. Y'all give new life to the golden era of Hip Hop.
GZA short for Genius. RZA short for Resurrector he's resurrecting the "mentally dead" as he says
Yeah my era of hip hop. I respect the young dudes listening to the golden sound also. I love when they learn the real
Look back on hip hop young man. GZA (aka Genius).... Liquid Swords might be one of the best albums (genres aside)..... One of the best COMPLETE ALBUMS ever made!
Peep that!
Keep doing what you're doing dude
Imagine being 15 and seeing this video im 43 years old. I've been hooked forever. i love Wu this shit is my heart, bro
The members of the clan always hit the dome. Them boyz are cerebral.
They recall the cerebral assassins, if I'm not mistaken!!!
Method man imo the coolest most hip rapper from the 90s...plus his flow is INCREDIBLE
This is hardcore. No Gucci, Fendi, Bugatti or private jet. Just raw, street shit...
Jizza (Gza) & Rizza (Rza). Ain't nobody named Gizza in Wu Tang
Never seen someone butcher it that hard
Dude, bought the CD as a sophomore in HS. Still have it to this day😮 No real way to play it , but it's there
I also really appreciate you're commentary at the end of your videos. We watch reactions for reactions lol and yours are always really good. Thank you
Love to see young fellas learning hip hop from the golden era. Someone mentioned it but just keep in mind GZA and RZA are not initials, they're pronounced as Jizzah and Rizzah. Keep it up tho.
8.49 " I was like Wu Tang wasn't around in the 80's " These young brothers lol props to him learning real Rap.
You should check out Triumph next.
It features every member of the Clan.
Wu-Tang has been on the world stage since 1992.
GZA is a shortened version of Genius zig Zag Allah. RZA (Ruler Zig Zag Zig Allah), GZA, and ODB are members of the Five Percent Nation.
This was the first single released off of Method Man's first solo album. I loved Wu-Tang's first album, but, one of everybody's tracks on "36 Chambers" was M.E.T.H.O.D. Man--because it was sooo much fun. I was super psyched when I found out he was going to drop a solo album (he's my favorite of that stellar group). When this track dropped, I played it on repeat for I don't know how long. He definitely distinguished himself from the rest of the group. All the imagery in the song, and the dynamic content of the lyrics--it just never gets old.
There's an infographic based on a NY data scientist analyzing the 35,000 lyrics of 85 hip hop rappers and compares their vocabularies to Shakespeare: *"Does Wu-Tang Clan really have a bigger vocabulary than SHAKESPEARE? Infographic ranks rappers by their use of English language"*
I want to address when he said, "...all I need is Chemical Bank to pay the mo'" I don't know why New Yorkers called prostitutes "mo'", but, it's an old school term. I was watching Diana Ross in the movie "Mahogany" and heard a character use that word when he thought that was what her character was--after he sexually harassed her.
This is one of the hardest tracks in the history of hip hop 🔥
Do method man, release yo delf
I saw Redman and Method Man in November 2022, it was SO damn good! They played this too!
I have yet to hear a Tical bar I didn't think was absolute perfection, he is one of the GOATs, without question.
"With my hands on the 4-9-3-11 with the rugged rhymes galore" 4th letter, 9th letter, 3rd letter, 11th letter. He used those numbers in Mr Sandman too. "Peace to the number 7 (G), everybody else get the 4-9-3-11" These cats are verbal scientists.
Cream Means Money Young King No Reason To Say "Pause" 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
Preciate it man I did not know that I’m Gen Z so I really had no idea
@IamKing4L Your Welcome honestly speaking your highly intelligent young man 💯💯 I truly appreciate how your reacting to real Hip Hop and being able to dissect the difference between then and now 🙏🏿 You really wanna challenge your intelligence? listen to I Gave You Power By Nas one of the most historic rap songs ever made💯💯💯
@@IamKing4L it's Cash Rules Everything Around Me C.R.E.AM...cream intern is the slang for money 💵. ...respect to you for listening to the lyrics..as Nas said " most intellectuals will only half listen" so it's dope the younger generation is into our jams.
he says, “and brothers is mad fish, accept it!”….many don’t even know what that means.
When i saw this video and heard this song, i was hooked to me. Mef is like a superhero he saved me as a lost bored kid
Bro can you do some Rob Base It Takes Two. That's the hardest song to this day .They even play it in clubs everywhere. It even has a video

😊Love this song, I saw him and Redman live a few years ago here in Berlin.

One of my all time favourite:
A Tribe Called Quest with the song "Electric Relaxation"
BRO ITS GZA PRONOUNCED JIZZA SHORT FOR GENIUS
Tell him, lol. I get second hand embarrassment when they don't know
@@omegax1 it hurts my heart bruh, that's my favorite Wu member too
This was grimey af back in the day. Still is...
Ah what a refreshing reminder of one of the first songs. That drew me to hip hop and that I learned word for word. And I think that is one of the songs that made me wanna rap. Back in the time where rap actually showed skill. And made you want to think instead of made brain rot occur like music now. Pretty much music and society when from going forward to everything going completely backwards while being called progress sad.
Craig Mack FLava in your ear
Chemical Bank is an actual bank in NYC, like Chase and Citi bank
yea it was on seinfeld also..
Wu-Tang Clan are 90s
Wu Tang is FOREVER
Im listening to your statement in the pause and what you see in the
Wu Tang is Mid ninety's prominent artist like, NAS, REDMAN, Early JAY Z, DMX first album.
As will as KRS & RAKIM.
It was Rhymes not rap. Meaning rap is anything and anything goes. But Rhyming is thought provoking and skillful.
The MCs of that time put life into there words and painted pictures.
Mr Sandman by Method Man is a great song off that album you might want to checkout. Also, Dangerous Grounds song off his second album.
1st time I heard this I was riding in a car with three school mates, the intro hit and all 3 of them started cranking up. I'm thinking wtf bout to come on? By the time the beat dropped these nih was wide open just bopping, nigga driving bout to wreck and shit.. lol. This and No limit soldiers bout the only raps I can remember when I 2st heard it.
This kid trying to explain it sounds refreshing to me being I grew in the golden era . Yes everyone, every group sounded different.
Also check out any ins.deck verse

The Wu Tang Clan came out in the 90s. 1993
speaking from someone from this time... wu tang was the shit
method was top dog ol dirty right there though
More Wu Tang affiliated rappers Ghostface Killa “ Motherless Child” GZA “‘I got your back “ and Old Dirty Bastard “ Shimmy Shimmy Ya”.
Its jizza
its JIZZA.. not GIZZA.. lol.. RZA is like Rizza
GZA actually raps about Astro physics to MIT students.. real talk..
What is reactors' aversion to just taking 2 seconds to google the artist or group you're reacting to. Nothing wrong with some context.
I like that he said wu tang doesn't have any debauchery in their music lol. Wait til he hears the skit in method man.
mef actually is like the LEAST lyrical out of the clan.. Him and Old Dirty.. and even THEY were intricate with the lyrics.. but ppl like GZA and INSPECTAH DECK are on a whole nother level
No it jizza GZA = jizza. And RZA = rizza No G. Z. A listen to wu tangs song method man it says all there names in the begaining
You have to get into Blackthought.
I like the commentary, keep it going. You should check out O.C “times up!”
It is "jizza", not "gizza". They say their names in their songs. How do you mispronounce it?
