This is a video of Lynne and I installing a Harbor Freight dust collector with the addition of a Wynn dust filter and a Oneida Super Dust Deputy 4/5 cyclone. This makes the Harbor Freight dust collector into a two stage collection system.

Can you subjectively comment on this? For example, if the DC before mods was unable to get all the sawdust off the tablesaw table top but with the mods it is now able to do that? Note, this may be a bad example but do you see what I mean? I’m thinking about buying a canister filter but I’m just trying to justify it without knowing any direct benefits.

@@stevesiefken2696 We never used the unit without the filter. But we believe that the unit with the filter pulls the fines from the shop air better. We thought the filter was a good upgrade especially since our shop is physically small and the cleaner air made for better air for the two of us.
