  • Ensoniq ASR-10 - standard sampling comparison. Samples was recorded on 33rpm, 45rpm and 78rpm and pitch down to default speed and samples was recorded in 44.1kHz and 30kHz.
    To record samples I use:
    Turntable Reloop RP-7000 with Ortofon Nightclub MK2

    It's a 16-bit sampler with plenty enough sample time, not a 12-bit SP-1200, which only allows 2.5 seconds per sample. This video is pointless.

      You’re sampling in 78rpm to save sampling time.
      I’m sampling in 78rpm for fun.
      We’re not the same.

      Shows the sound character because it'll take on a unique texture if you speed it up and slow it down
