Great tour Hugo
If your pockets are deep enough for this level of exclusivity then why not!
Exclusive = not enough demand to produce them in numbers.
That is not how the economics of this sort of boat works. You can buy a much cheaper Center Console for someone else, but it's not a Canados.
Not enough people with deep pockets in this segment.
I agree, huge money for scrappy finish.
I'll assume this example is an owner's boat and the €1.4 is for a new build. Very high end Center Consoles from the U.S., like Midnight Express, cost in the same range. Very Pretty. I just have problems wrapping my head around the idea there are fly-bridge boats in this same price range and size, think the Princess F45.
The US center consoles like ME sacrifice beam size for speed, you'll notice they only have seats, no sunbeds no tables.
@@AyeAye-o8t True, but they are very much in the same niche and the very high end ones can cost what this costs.
£1.4 million. "This seems a bit of an after thought" "Finish is a bit scrappy" "These could do with stronger springing! " Yeah, Italian design over substance?? Wouldn't see my money to be honest, no matter how "Exclusive"
They built that beautiful 'Explorer yachtz?' 'Mediterranean Style?' Last year. Bering called their 165' Explorer yacht 'Mediterranean style' and that causes widespread confusion on what that means. A pool,in the back? Anyways.....it looked nice. Althpugh Nick and David did the tour and they rambled on and missed half the yacht, so who knows.
So what you're telling us Hugo, is that either this yacht is used a lot and thus has some definite wear, or that Canados has some shoddy building and/or finishing. Lol. I think obviously by the grip tape znd the seat not being so stiff and the little chips around the edges, probably from a watch, that this is a well used and loved yacht. The grip tape up near the locker shows that when pulling into a dock/yacht wearing shoes and the deck is wet, pulling on ropes getting onto and off the dock or yacht requires miore grip and it's slippery. I can bet those swoopy seats up front are rarely used too. If you're a woman wearing a bikini top, the wiind is foimf to follow the .ines of the yacht and go from down to up amd could take ypur top off. Also, when the boat hits a wave, that water is coming up and right over the deck into your face. I worked on a a custom Palm Beach a d the owner had a wife and 2 daughters and they had 4 seats just like that up front. Bentley stitched in marine leatther with Alcantara amd expensive. Every time they sat there, we got a show. Hus daughters were 19 and 23 and mom was 46 but looked 28 so it was always a good day on the water...
It is a nice boat but I think it seems overpriced for what you get and you pointed out some finish issues in places. Nice tour though Hugo thank you.
Interesting custom made day boat. As i said interesting. I think it's not for me, but its my style. But if i had the money hummm, I might change my mind.
But somewhere they'll be a sailor who'll want pay for this.
Yeah no, yeah no, 🤔 maybe???? Interesting just not sure. Plus no money. 😊
With that kinda dough you can get a Sargo 42. This is an expensive toy.
I agree with the other comments. Looks a bit thrown together. €1.4 million for a dayboat? Definitely not very practical for a weekender. Plenty of cheaper and better alternatives. Definitely better boats for the same money. If they want to be exclusive, they need to do something about the quality of the fixtures and fittings.
I would not waste my money on this one….finishes are “ok”
