Lewis Black, not the wisdom we thought we needed, but the wisdom we deserve.
You’re goddamn right🥂.
Does everyone speak in memes now?
🥂
Andi-the-Duke You don’t deserve Lewis Black.
@@avigutierrez8948 That line never gets old. Bless Breaking Bad!
The Trump shirt at the end was so funny and accurate for NYC. 😂
I couldn't stop laughing for a while, that was hilarious!!!
just be ready to get the shit beat out of you

@@DSAK55 FACTS!!!!!
To be fair we hated him before he became president.
Tony can you bring the beams tommorow.
69 likes, what kind of beam we talking about? XD
@@Rin-vh9so chill Kevin Chill
I don't think he stole it. I've been in similar situations.
"This beam was delivered to the wrong site. Go get it."
"What do I move it with?"
"Let me rephrase that: go get it, or go get another job."
The NYC Subway is such an embarrassing disgrace to the city. Foreigners from all over the world come and are shocked to see our old, decrepit, outdated transport system. I love my NYC but our subway is in serious need of a major overhaul.
asentzio I just got home on the (C) train, they still use the over half-century old R32s on there. I can’t even pretend to forecast when these trains will finally be retired.
asentzio Using what money? Americans say taxes too high on corporations and billionaires. I think U.S. doing very well as 2nd world country, funded by poor. Not quite 3rd world country yet, but aspiring! Definitely has not seen infrastructure inprovement for at least 50 years.
isnt the underground of New york like a gigantic Swiss cheese? Tunnels everywhere? Its a wonder your city is still standing - one earthquake and youre done.
I guess it would cost billions to completely overhaul all of it....and even if you get that money, it will take decades.
Even china would probably need years for that job....and these guys can build a bigger Bridge within Days.
@@smaragdwolf1
I don't think NY ever gets earth quakes, which is why it's like Swiss cheese. However, with the hurricane reinforcement that most buildings have, they're pretty damn sterdy.
@@williamcortelyou4524 reinforcement is useless, when the ground break and the whole building sinks in^^
i know NY is earthquake free.....atleast of the natural sort. Here in Germany we had a case a few years ago, where through drilling/building a tunnel for Trains under the City, it caused the collapse of the City Library that was directly over the tunnel. Many valuable Books and old texts were destroyed.
You dont need a natural earthquake to start a catastrophe.
"Tony don't forget to bring the beam".....lmao!!
"Uhhh. There are not enough resources to support such a huge and growing population"
Thanos - Hold my beer
yes it is enough, it's called condoms and birth control medication. Strippers and free school or grants. Affordable housing and ☆integration!☆
@@willrose5424 Yeah I know. We could save our planet before destruction if we follow what you said above.
Tokyo got it figured out lol
We have resources, we just waste so much of them in the search for endless profits.

@@jianakambo2621 Don't be ridiculous. There is still far too much money to make while the world burns. In fact, I hear it might be quite profitable...
In Japan the Subways are so clean/doesn’t smell, because everyone is aware that you DON’T eat or talk on the phone because it’s considered rude.
Everyone efficiently walks on the left side of the stairs/escalators so if you’re in a hurry you can run up the stairs without people blocking you... we have a lot to learn.
In Japan there's a huge amount of weight on social uniformity. New Yorkers don't give a s*** what anyone else thinks of them.
Is it just me or does the guy clipping his nails (2:53) look like Larry David?
Maybe a Larry David lookalike🤷♂️.
I thought it was a cameo! 🤣
Yeah!
Tawanda Douglas (Curb Your Enthusiasm theme plays)
Or Bernie Sanders
I love Lewis Black and his segments “Back to Black” Hilarity at its finest! 🤣😂👍🏽🤣

What's overcrowded for these New Yorkers is normal for daily Mumbai local travellers lol

It's not New York if you don't see a guy dressed as Jesus playing a full, wooden piano in a subway car at 11:00AM
If there's anything i don't wanna see at 8 am it's a guy spilling Redbull on his sleeveless Bonjovi shirt 😂
'Hey that's my lawyer',hey ben
His face was so genuine, I question if that wasn't really his lawyer lol
🤣🤣🤣 the reveal at the end!
I love, love, love Lewis Black. The New York Subway system is a unique place where anything can happen. I miss NY so much.
Me too😈.
Come back😀 I was born and raised in Queens I love living here...
Me too! I actually loved it.
Lewis Black is the meme version of Bernie Sanders
Yeessss
He could be like Luther, Obama's anger translator, just for Bernie 😅
I'd watch "Back in Sanders" for sure, with like, a big picture of a sandal with Bernie's face on it
Looks like we're gonna have to hired people to cram people into the train like in Japan 😅
*Sigh* I want that job. "Look pregnant lady, you either get in or I push you in so hard I am not the only one doing hard labor capiche?"
Ahaha tat loks so unreal..but its real..
🤣Those people would get slapped 👋
Wait, does that mean that New York is gonna get subway frottage now?

I wonder how he got the trees up to Street level and further.
Was he like "who's getting off at the next stop? Y'all grab a tree and take it with you!" XD
The subways are already overcrowded, even more so than the streets and they want to shove them into that tube like sardines, wtf
Exactly my dude exactly🤨.
Game Glitch Population control. They know people will start freaking out and losing it. 😀 Like ants crawling on top of each other. It is true that we need "personal" space. We have big energy! ⚡⚡⚡
@@geniegreentrees In some ways I think that yes there should be population control but absolutely not in the way they keep going about it, but then you got the conservatives that don't believe in birth control or abortion, and they also don't like gay people, well who has less abortions than gay people, it should be a no brainer but its like most of the world in the last decade just went "der der der"

Another working day has ended.
Only the rush hour hell to face.
Packed like lemmings into shiny metal boxes.
Contestants in a suicidal race.
I only just saw Lewis Black a couple of seconds ago, but I knew, instantaneously, that he'd make a terrific Bernie Sanders impression.
I literally was taken aback by what he was doing at the end then he turned around with the Trump shirt and I was like "Whew keeping it family friendly, wait a minute I don't know if thats worse or not"
I'd take old dangly balls in my face over a man-baby in charge giving the reds all the cover they need any day...
@@ashkebora7262 Let's face it, "Trump" is the epitome of dangling old-man balls anyway.
Haha.
would love too meet the tree guy. I bet he was walking them. why should they be confined to a house
Hahaha
I love you for this comment. Almost swallowed my own tongue
Ive had a bad/scary experience on the subway trying to go to work at 5am when there is hardly anyone there...i dont mind it being busy at all
Sometimes I miss the place I called home for a year and a half...
The actual NYC Subway, that is.
That is why I don't live in big cities. Living in a mid size city is already crowded enough.
The steel beam had me then the jungle of trees! 😂
I brought my couch thru the subway. It fits too! It was a sectional
Lewis is still knocking them out of the park. Funny guy.
Yes, always
Indeed
Like my Dad always said..”Fuck New York.” Never been there myself and never will 😂 lol
Lewis Black a true king of comedians............
The Lewis Black segments are always my favorite
yeah try living in japan. even here in nagoya the subways are packed like sardines.
Seeing Lewis Black always reminds me to check my blood pressure.
"People clipping their nails?"
"Toenails, too."
It's a little odd, but as long as they're not trying to clip _my_ nails, I can _live_ with that. It is a bit unfortunate, though, that this is not being paired with an effort to increase the capacity of the NYC subway. For a few _decades,_ now, it has been at capacity.
Lazy Perfectionist yea kinda gross, but that’s New York for ya
Lewis Black is my favorite reporter on this show. He fills me with joy every time he does a segment ^.^
Not just in New York! Portland, Oregon is implementing toll roads for congestion control.
Wow
3:44 appropriate response from those commuters.
0:54 oh its gonna be a ride now eh"
I thought no one caught that except me!!
🤨Ditching your car means 💰paying someone for parking. 🤯
Is it me or did that lawyer clipping his nails resembled Larry David? 🤔
😄😄😄
I thought he looked like him too. 😂
There are day's I feel like I'm living in one of those sci-fi movies of the end days.
OK, the guy with the steel beam surprised even me. Over here in Berlin, we usually only get furniture and the occasional pony on the tube...
Don't miss this city one bit! 20 years of traumatic experiences was plenty.
What I find strange compared to our local metro system is that, apparently, trains can wait for as long as necessary before everyone gets on, including all of that crap they travel with. Don't the train drivers have to adhere to a time plan so as to not make other trains wait before the train departs from the station?
That ending though... Just lovely ♥
Trees on the subway! 🤣😂🤣😍 That was God!
Read the title and I was like "Hmmm ok...why? It's not even that good a restaurant."
Then it hit me 😂
best trenchcoat joke i've ever seen thank you lmao
I love Lewis Black esp his INTRO! SO MUCH ATTITUDE!! YESSSIIIIRRR! 😎
Sleeveless Bon Jovi shirt 🤣
I miss NYC! The grass is never greener.
What a BRILLIANT addition to your show Trev. Great job!
Overcrowded subways... where is Thanos when you need him! ^^
I hate overcrowded subways and trains, gives me anxiety, but this here was funny, lol
I thought he's gonna pull a tony stark joke
"Hey Tony can you bring the beam tomorrow?"
"Tony, i meant the repulsor beam. Oh you're a dead man tony!"
Was that dude at 0:56 looking that that girls chest 👀
I love Black. He still does Live rantings
It's not going to affect me, now that I got my new George Jetson car/briefcase thingamajig🔥♨️😈
lewis black's performance in accepted is legendary
I love that Lewis Black has become the foul-mouthed Andy Rooney of The Daily Show
Pauses, to read shirt on tiny phone
*shirt has giant PLAY button*
Michael M Tap the video in the space around the play button and it goes away.
Back in Black is my new favorite thing.
Everytime I travel to NY I love to take train it's the easiest way to move around the city and you never know what crazy shit you are gonna find. It's like a tourist attraction!
They don't even mention how so many trains are also running on shuttle buses outside of Manhattan
Meanwhile, in other big cities across the world, people ride bikes...
There's those electric bikes for rent in NYC but nobody gets them.
I for one love the New York subway and all it’s oddness and weirdness and oldness
So that must be one hell of a tax to be higher than a parking space
LOL loved the ending LOL!!!!!!!!!
I'm going to try that next time I'm in Manhattan. 😆😆😆
Your subways are as bad as Stockholm’s buses; when they stop there’s are strange noises and one loses their balance. Same thing goes for starting.
Ha! That Lewis Black. What a card!! Always leaves me in stitches.
You should see the rail system here in the Philippines. You'd be proud of your Subway.
🤣
I swear Lewis Black is a few inches closer to his death bed every time he shows up... It's getting painful to watch him perform, but I have to admit his commitment is legendary, and he's always a welcome addition.
So much room on this earth, and we still cram eachother.
lol at the end
I still have family who live in NY (I moved) and I couldn't believe it when I heard that this was going to happen. I think they just want people to move outta NY. It would be a good strategy, make it more uncomfortable for people and they will leave, except NYers are born and bred to deal with not so great circumstances and still carry on like its nothing.
I strongly agree with reducing car traffic. Cycling, walking and public transportation is better for the environment.
New York’s subway is way behind Singapore’s, Hongkong’s, or Jakarta’s
I think it's behind with trains too. I'd love to visit Singapore, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, etc.
I love New York! I was born and raised in Queens still living in Queens wouldn't want to live anywhere else... Come back home fellow New Yorker...
You can have it. I left it for a damned good reason.
This guy just might top Desi is my favorite segment person.
At 3:50, reminds me of a Flying Circus sketch.
Dam its going to be like Japan subways pack as hell but Also let's not forget that the rats also ride on the subway with there slice new York pizza
*their
Japanese trains are much more reliable and run more often. That’s because they shut down overnight. As a New Yorker, I’m not really willing to sacrifice my 24hr transit system though.
*Japan, India, Mexico, and on bus transportation in Colombia, Perú and other south countries*
When I went to the NYC train I was like helllll noo there’s too much people in there specially in the summer, how is it ganna look like when everyone has to take the T 😭
02:55
That wasn't Ben. That was Larry David!! ^^
I wish Lewis Black had a podcast or his own daily show/30min segment
Black never goes out of style.
bring the beams from home tmw lol
👍😆, yes mostly NYC.
Congestion charge is an excellent idea and will generate revenue to improve the subway and buses while reducing pollution. Works in many cities in the developed world. Nice to see America modernising.
LOL I love back in black, They should have him on more often.
You are identical to my 60+ Irish SAT reading writing teacher whose alway angry.
As you can tell, I wont be getting a high score on thay sweet grammer section
The subway is already crowded this will be interesting........
Good. They should do this everywhere
Lewis Black never fails to make me laugh...Ever!....
Love you Trevor noah
At Times likes these im proud to live in a state where theres less people in the entire state than just new york city alone.
London is doing a similar thing in terms of taxing the use of non-green cars, so New York just needs to take some tips from London. Step 1 is that the Underground don’t give a shit who or what is getting on and off the trains, you do it in 15 seconds flat. Any more time spent at a station that’s not the end of the line and everything behind you is backed up. None of this multi-step botanical garden loading shit. That door WILL close on you, and then people will get very miffed at you for causing a fuss (which, from Londoners, usually just means scandalized glares and loud huffing).
That was genius!
LMFAO!!! The Trump shirt was so not where I thought he was going with that but absolutely hilarious.
A toll to drive below 60th street??? WTF
Guy with Bon Jovi shirt, next time I see you hogging the pole in the E, we're gonna have some problems.
