14:04 Must be a translation continuity issue. Originally the vociferous bird is called Feldmarszałek Duda, "duda" (usually in plural form "dudy") meaning "bagpipe(s)" or similar instruments.

Yeah... That ending... I wonder if the whole boat and everything with her unicorn friend was also made up by her. I will say, season of storms may be worth a chapter at a time. It's may be a small book but there's a lot of story there.

Thanks for all reviews. I’m into Season of Storms, and surprising how short the chapters are.
The previous chapter had me concerned for this finale. Really didn’t like the idea of seeing Ciri put down her sword to become the wife to some pathetic prince. Found the finale very satisfying, if a bit confusing. Clearly Ciri took them to another world. Geralt did ‘die’ but must have been revived by Ciri. Why else would he wake up bandaged and in pain. Yen didn’t die there. Nice they’re together, but to then be isolated like that.
Although, what about that coming cataclysm everyone was so concerned about? What about Geralt’s sorcerers mother and that backstory? Would like to see Ciri on her own adventure as a Witcher, that no longer needs to be in hiding; but Sapkowski has said anything he writes in the Witcher universe will be a prequel or side-story. No sequels. Maybe the new game can fill that story.
