- (14 May 1994) Brcko, a Serb - held town in the north of Bosnia on the river Sava,
is vital to the Serb initiative as it lies on the supply route
between Serb position. It also currently exists between two
fronts. The regular Croatian army is located in the north, across
the Sava river. West of Brcko, in the pocket of the Croatian
enclave of Orasje, are the Bosnian Croats, while the Bosnian
Moslem army is in the south on the banks of the Sava. The
situation is relatively calm after the build-up by all sides and
after the Muslim shelling of the town when four people died.
