During my years as a TV director I found out that you can easily put any music in 4/4 under something that involves human motion. Here you see it too. Many movements come right on the beat. I always find that fascinating.
Already have one on the way. Ordered 5/10. Hopefully it will be here soon. Gonna use it for my next TP3 build. Good review as always Albert.

Definitely want to turn down sharpening a bit. Used it in a couple babytooth. Just have to find my joystick. Think I have one from Runcam in one of my toolboxes. Hope that does the trick.

Hey Albert, hope you are well, if buying in December 2020, what would you consider to be the best of the best overall analog fpv cam?
Great video! Nice bright picture, excellent definition, good color, adjustable (could take sharpening down a tick), light weight, and an excellent price. I've been a fan of the ratel, but haven't needed a new cam so don't fly one yet. What's better on the baby ratel that I would rather get that than this?

Glad to hear this is replacing the EOS cams:) I never much cared for the image from those. I think this looks better than the Runcam Nano 3 as well, at least at first glance.

I have one question: Do the cut the top and bottom from the 4:3 to get 16:9 or do they cut the sides of 16:9 to get 4:3?
I don't know. I was only sent the 16:9 version... I don't have the 4:3 version to compare.

YES, of course you should tell them to sell to RDQ! Most of my Caddx cameras I've ordered from CaddxFPV.com because I've managed to usually get them to send me a discount code, but I really would rather just buy them from RDQ. Thanks Albert!

Just flew a ANT 4:3 and Nano3 back to back on two Babytooth builds. I like the ANT much better. Better picture and colors, and better low light handling than the Nano3. FOV was good and not much different than the Nano3. Didn't notice any distortion that bothered me. You do add about 2g (with cables) to the build over a Nano3. Pyrodrone has them.
ANT lite at 1.5g will be out soon.

How would you compare it to the runcam nano 3 with the old lens? Seeing as the new lens fov is to small now on the nano 3
Seems similar as I didn't notice anything bad about this camera's FOV. I did not do a direct comparison however.

This looks interesting, only for the most weight-conscious of builds. Your linked video had far better daytime colour than this one IMO, and night is usable, though quite grainy. So for UL this is an option, but others like the Cat2 that just came out trounce the Ant. The video you took felt like the camera's sharpness was turned all the way up and made everything feel jagged. Was there some range to soften that to get a more pleasing output that you had a chance to take a peek at? It might give me a reason to re-evaluate it.
I always review with the default factory settings. I'm pretty sure you can adjust the sharpness down in the settings. I haven't looked the the complete range of each settings yet. I may take a look at it again after I've finished reviewing these 15 cameras that just came in.

Maybe later a "camera redux" montage video of "Let's see what a few minutes of tweaking can get out of these and a quick compare a before & after" .... if you aren't still buried in products :) Looking forward to your next videos. Just ordered my from RDQ yesterday.
I got the delivery and tried it over the weekend. The picture is so clear and so little delay. I see why racers don't switch to digital.

Either will work. It's just the 4:3 image will be stretched in the Dom3 screen. It doesn't bother me but it might you.

AK, when you adjusted the settings did you get them as good as the Ratel?
I have not touched any of the settings yet. Always review these with factory settings. This one seems popular. I may do a follow up video with my "favorite" settings later.

It isn't bad, Comparable to the RC Nano. It did not handle the bright sun really well. I need to play with settings. I was actually hoping to tune in and see that Albert had made some adjustments

You have to choose either the 4:3 version of 16:9 version.
Just came to my mind. Have you thought about installing two cameras into your Colibri HD frame? Normal fpv camera like this Caddx Ant and the other for HD footage. Considering that this Ant camera is only 2g I see chances for success ;)

what? I don't quiet understand. u want to install 2nd fpv cam for hd recording? like 2 caddx ant? can't u just do that with one cam and on board dvr?
@@marianh69 HD cameras have crappy fpv feed when compared to normal fpv cameras. Mounting two cameras, one for normal fpv feed and one for hd recording gives you better fpv feed into goggles with less latency. Second HD camera records only HD footage and nothing else. Common trick used for example with Acrobrat frame.

Albert i have a flywoo firefly nano baby drone and my camera broke...a local retailer has this one so I can have it in one day or I have to order the stock flywoo and wait like one month.....is this fit for the nano baby drone or i need definitely the stock? Thanks in advance man
It's not the same camera. The Flywoo model is different.

The only thing I don't like about this camera is the way it transitions the exposure when going from shadows to sunlight, but it still looks like this might be the best 2gram budget camera out there. Its pretty damn good looking. Wish Foxeer could shave a gram off of the Nano Toothless 2, it does a better job, but then again, its $10 more.
Where do you see the nano toothless for $25? Everywhere I look it's $35.

how do flip the image? I mounted it upside down, I can't mount it right side up as the ESC is in the way

@@ruuster83 I've just noticed eachine do a 20x20 vtx and DVR that's is similar spec to the diamond. It depends on what your fitting it to.

I swear to god I'm about to lose my mind. I bought one of these and tried to connect it to my VTX only to see no image. The issue is not the VTX because another camera works fine. I then connected the nano ant to a different VTX and BOOM, I get video. Why does one VTX work but another one gives me a black screen?
Probably due to some compatibility or setting in your screen/goggle. Most likely, the camera is PAL and your monitor is set to NTSC or vice versa. This is the most common situation for something like this.
@@AlbertKimTV That's what I thought too, so I set the camera to NTCS but it had no effect.
