This looks like a great camera! I’m loving all the new quality analog cameras on the market, nice to know us analog pilots are still being catered too in the age of HD.
Looks pretty decent. I love that it has so many settings available, especially the LED preset option. Beautiful day you chose to record the flight footage on.

this looks incredible, i'm assuming it can be softened for strong sunlight and possibly some of the jagged edges are dvr bitrate, but to me this looks like a massive leap forward.
I was looking at foxeer cameras. I need to buy one for the 3" Martian 2 I built. Thanks for the links in the comments that really helps me get the lowest price.
The Falkor is my favorite cam right now. This T-Rex looks good from the videos which makes me want to pick one up.

I was just looking for a good micro cam for my mutant 4" I just pit the new betafpv A02 in it and I think this would be a great match.
I'm a HUGE fan of the Predator series... I may have to switch, the image quality in the video is awesome!

I am always amazed to see that new cameras are released every month. there is little difference between them but on the other hand the price is excessive in some cases (I have the impression that we are taken for idiots). Personally I am content with a Ratel at 25 Euros which has proven itself.
They are always testing out new sensors and seeing if people like them or not. In the end, there is only so much that can be done with analog video.
@@AlbertKimTV As soon as a serious design comes out an HD module that differs from the DJI system,( fast shark Byte Is not a serious competitor at this time)
people will switch to HD. It's inevitable !! analog is like VHS compared to digital HD 😉😁
Does the OSD cable go to a Camera Control (CC) pad on a flight controller?
use them on 2 of my drones. that is THE BEST analog camera!

Ok my question is, can it actually be 1500TVL? That seems like a big number, and as battery producers are always proving, the product numbers don't always line up with the reality of the product...although, even if it isn't 1500TVL, it seems like it looked pretty good for an analog camera. The price threw me off though, they're asking a lot in my opinion. Thank you for the time put into the vid!
Great review, nice flight. Image quality looks good, I like the color, I may try tweaking the contrast if I flew the T-Rex. I fly 4:3 aspect ratio and giving up any vertical fov isn't for me. Happy flying Albert 🤓
This camera is 16:9 so when you switch to 4:3 mode, you lose the sides or horizontal FOV. The vertical FOV remains the same.
@@AlbertKimTV but doesn't a true 4:3 aspect ratio camera start out with a larger vertical view than a 16:9 camera.? A more square sensor vs rectangular. Maybe I'm misunderstanding, thanks Albert.

@@DrKrail if I'm buying a new camera, if possible I'd rather get one with a 4:3 sensor. Like the Phoenix 2. Weird thing is the Ratel, which I like is a 16:9 camera but has great 4:3 fov, and to get 16:9 cuts the top and bottom off according to Bardwell's review, go figure 🤓
@@jlarson42 I see what you mean now. I realised that in 4:3, this sensor is actually more like 1100tvl

Very nice review thank you man, I actually love the colors the field of view and the OSD options glad to see that. I'm looking for a good camera I broke mine anyway can I use that with a four wires positive ground video and OSD if I just change the plug out? Thank you kindly sir have a wonderful day😃👍
The Rattel 2 looks really good for the money and just in general, But 23-27ms of delay is just too much for me, Curious about the FOV as I am used to 150 not 120, but I know I despise super FOV cameras as judging distance and speed is more difficult, I would rather loose FOV than loose perception of distance.
Also with the Muted colors, they most likely look much better through an OLED screen because they tend to saturate colors more than LCD.

Does higher tvl mean better camera?
That's just one aspect of many that could make for a better camera but you have to consider all the specs in combination and look at the footage. You might like the look of the footage or you might not. It's somewhat subjective.

8ms latency for the ratel and in my opinion it still looks little bit better even though it has less resolution....also it looks awesome in the night and the dynamic range seems higher too! The T Rex looks like garbage in the night.

Thanks for another great video. Its tuff for me to judge outdoor anolog footage after going to digital. Looks good going slow through the tree but generally i don't think I would have the confidence to fly with that veiw.
Looks nice but for 40 pluse dollars its kinda steep for a cam

@@AlbertKimTV Oh. I thought Shark Byte worked with all analog cams. I remembered Fatshark was thrashing dji before for not being compatible with all analog cams. Haha
@@yolofpv2936 sharkbyte works with HD cameras but what I heard is that they will allow use HD cameras from other vendors, they never said it will work with analog cameras.

Foxeer is supposedly developing a camera for Shark Byte although I don’t know if anyone knows how many TVL.
When I first started flying I wanted all the FOV I could get, then I learned I was wrong and actually liked a smaller FOV and it made me a better pilot!!!!
why isn't something over 600TVL not that big of a deal?
Because it's analog and the receiver display often can't take advantage of the higher lines of resolution.
