*Sebrs are warm and friendly -- this is what 1000% true.* People here seeing you for the 1st time are happy to help you with anything. Not all, but most of them. And they don't care about how you look, where are you from. And they don't care about money a lot, family and friendship are so important, that if Serb invites you somewhere, he always pays full price for you and then refuses to take money, even if the receipt is over 20k RSD. And finally -- they love children so much. In the bus they always yield seats to kids, wherever you appear with children, Serbs will talk to them, caress them, give them sweets, etc... :)

In the 90s Serbia was pretty much closed to the world due to sanctions and wars. I remember who strange it was to see any strangers, except children from mixed marriages. Well, I moved to Belgrade about a year ago from Russia, and there IS a traffic order comparing even to mid-west Russia where I lived for 30 years. Much more respect to each other between drivers, also cars stop for pedestrians near zebra crossing almost immediately and overall traffic/roads organized smarter and safer for everyone. It is far from ideal, I agree, but it is not that bad as it sounds from your video ;)

Some older german gentleman he constantly defecates in front of my apartment, on a public surface. When crossing the street, I often have to think that someone is not going to move before the light turns green because it has happened to me countless times. In Serbia, traffic and pedestrians are much more respected than in Germany. What Germans and Serbs have in common is that they don't pay a ticket on trams and trains.

Here was some comedy talk show called "Minimaxovizija" and there was some video clip at the end, which nobody in Serbia knows words and meaning of it. Host of that show, who died few years ago, once said that performers are Kenyan Embassy in Belgrade staff/employee. Video clip is from March 1993. czcams.com/video/sY2r7Gjvgnk/video.html

Do you know what is the main difference between German people and German shepherds? German people are easier to train!! They just loooove the rules, love them!!
Traffic is a bunch of rules on how you can move about so Germans feel right at home with all of those rules, they can't wait to obey them. So that's why traffic there is so good.
And people here in Serbia and obviously in Kenya are much more normal, we don't live to be told what to do and how to behave, etc. so once in a while we brake those traffic rules.
And we show emotions even when no one has told us that we can. Glad you like it in Serbia, and thank you for all the nice things you said about my country & people. Wish you all the best.

We also have a bad side, which is that a few always praise the West, not knowing that they have greater freedom. We Serbs love freedom and are not Nazis
because we were occupied and enslaved for centuries, that's why we have a proverb
Take off those shackles Serbina and take your freedom. And bread has a great meaning here, there was no money, no clothes, but there was always bread and food. A Serb will help anyone as long as they respect us and value our country. we are good but also defiant, that's why the West presents us as cannibals 😂 Family, faith, fame,
bread and freedom are basic things with us and we love music, fun and joy.

Serbia is one of the first country, people in Europe.
We are not British colony we don't eat bread with tea.
Bread has deep meaning for us.
We don't use Euro because we invented first coins money. They should use our currency if you ask me.
Traffic is amazing in Serbia, people are very good drivers and we can drive on side walks, we don't have homeless, drugs people rooming around. Why we have to fallow European Traffic rules. Police are our friends.

Where have you found out that coins were invented in Serbia? Coins were first used in Asia Minor, then Ancient Greece and Rome, when Serbs were not even living in Serbia. The very word money comes from Latin moneta, which means coin. Coin too comes from Latin cuneus. Even the word valuta comes from Latin...

It's not bread... It is meat, meat, meat...also traffic. Serbian traffic is same as German. Trust me, those who brake rules, if caught on camera or by traffic police, tickets go from 50-2 000 euros.
Another thing it's Belgrade. 2 milion people city. Check smaller city to compare it to smaller German city.
