Can a NearStream be integrated into a Mevo setup and still use Mevo MultiCam? Thinking of purchasing one so the holy grail over the shoulder shot can be added with the use of an AX Slate as an extender.
Absolutely, if you have the Mevo Pro subscription you can use NDI to bring in the NearStream cameras. Keep in mind it is a 10x zoom so not quite enough to reach from CF on a high school baseball field. Softball or similar sized it should be just right.
@@JasonHoffmanYT Is the digital zoom too grainy for the over the shoulder shot? I can’t quite justify the cost of a Mevo Core and the additional cost of a zoom lens. 😁
@@pauldickinson4107 Depends on the size of your field. Softball and similar sized fields are the right size for a good shot with the NearStream cameras. Full size fields are a bit of a stretch.
Outside of wireless and SD card options, can you hardwire directly to an external monitor or computer for real time video?
According to their documentation the usb-c port produces an HDMI signal (adapter required).
Why is this the only video about the VM46 anywhere? Well apart from the one Anthony made with Karen on the expo, there is no other mention of it and I would really like to know more! :)
So many exciting gear in the past year came up, Mevo Core, Emeet StreamCam One (does it still have the choppy internal recording issue?), now the VM46, so much promising stuff!
Comparing it to the Core in tomorrow’s release…
At 30x they look almost identical. Not worth the price tag
