This is literally what a shirt looks like when you tie it in the back w a hair tie and tuck it
People's need for any "trendy" rubbish these days will keep this thing afloat. Not a business.
This is the strangest counter ever 😂
I've heard the producers make people do counter offers. If that's the case, then it was actually a very wise move.
@@Sam-rv6bt It's not a wise move when she could have potentially kept more of her company.
@@gldnkltz101 She liked the deal. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Cute saying but doesn’t apply here lol cuz that is a broken offer 😂
It was actually done out of respect for Mr Wonderful...and also to Damon. She countered their equal offer to Damon with 1% less than Kevins. The most respectful course of action.
Surprised no one asked if this was patented, or if it could get copied real quick….
I bet it was asked, but just wasn’t in the episode
It might not be patentable. Its really just an elastic waistband which already exists
These pitches can last over an hour sometimes so we see is a very small, although often well represented, part of it.
I thought the same. It’s going to be copied immediately if not.
Surprised it was a product
Those are the worst negotiation skills I’ve seen on this show lmao
There's been worse, lol. The Christmas Elf guy took a deal from Barbara that made him give his profits to charity and put him in debt to her.
You do realize she's valuing the company at nearly a quarter million dollars yet only did about 10k each month?
Check out Australia shark tank. They almost never negotiate 😅
Not really the worst, she still got him down a percent. Some negotiations result in the shark not budging at all or just going out. That being said, yeah she probably could have got him down more. If she said 30% and Daymond probably would have gone to 35, I doubt he would have gone any lower than that so at the end of the day you are only talking a difference of 4% from what she could have had.
Didn't any of guys listen to the end. She reduced it just to get Damon. No negotiation there. Am sure many of us have made such silly witty compromises in life just to get what we want or beat someone on an argument
She tucked her brain too. He would accept 35 %.
😂😂😂😂
Foul 😂
Lmaooo I like her but that’s funny
💀
😂😂😂😂
Rene Descartes: “I think, therefore I am.”
Barbara: “I think, therefore I’m out.”
When she said she just wanted 75k, I KNEW Daymond was in. The guy just want air time.
Lmao😂😂😂
I heard Daymond scammed the boneless ribs deal
@@kaitoukid6856 just did a search and this is what popped up..
The family claimed that John's $300,000 offer for 30% of the company deal at the time was revised off-air to $100,000 for 35%. The family has also claimed they only received 4% of $16 million the company made in revenue.
@@kaitoukid6856yeah he gives me evil vibes after I found out about it and he seems very cold now more then before
@@mitsuri3096what happened??
Anyone saw the title and thought “70K for *1%* “?
No
Yes 😂
Yep. Pretty misleading.
When she demonstrated that the elastic is not just for a crop top effect but to keep the waste from bulking up I was sold and I'm not in her age demographic !
I honestly felt like that was a bigger solution than meeting a trend.
same!
@@jamesbillingsby8043agreed!!!!!
It’s giving rich hubby vibes and this is her side gig for fun
I was right. Her husband is Chad Knaus
Beautiful + Likes Skiing was the giveaway@@stanyon
A classy lady.
Definitely
“WaY tO NeGotiAte BRooKe, YoU’re A maCHIne”
Lol... I was like "what would she be doing with the 1% bargain"😮
Do you tend to use that overused, "I was like ... " phrase much in daily life, too ?!?
@@warriormanmaxx8991 Who knows..?, I might have..🙂
@@warriormanmaxx8991 do you use excessive question marks and exclamation points in your daily life too ?!?!
Cool product but I think it’s easy to knock off
Suuuuuper easy
so you are out?
Some guy in china is already whipping them sweatshop kids into making this after watching this episode 😅
@@dexedr1ne😂😂😂😂😂you bet
Yeah I was thinking of making it myself. It's way cheaper.
Daymond asked for 40% and she made a mistake for countering at 39%. She could have countered at 35% and Daymond could have taken it if he hadn’t asked to meet in the middle at 37.5%. That’s how deals are done with Daymond.
Ok.
Hey @mandlas.4305 - she made NO "mistake" ... admitting countering at 39% to insure Daymond would accept. THAT was how THIS deal was done with Daymond. Ehhh ... little Mr./Ms. know-it-all ?!?
@@evergreens92 😂
Probably nothing to patent. This is something you have to sell a lot of quickly and move on to another business.
Women negotiate like this and then complain that they are paid less (supposedly)
Daymond wasn’t “excited”. He clearly stated he just wanted to beat Kevin. 🤦♂️
Nah he WAS actually kinda excited, he did say "this is gonna be a flyer" and was fidgeting with the product the entire time it was with him lol.
Yeah, he's done this before. Jumping in with an offer just to help them get a better deal. He ended up taking it when she only wanted 1% less than Kevin's crazy offer.
For those saying it was a horrible deal. It was BUT its just one product with no patent that will sell for 7 dollars on amazon not her 30 dollars. She only had 60k in sales. The way i see it this product will get knocked off and she can maybe get the opportunity to work on damons other companies. This was a glorified interview and her entry ticket was a bogus product with very little sales.
why wouldn’t she be able to patent it?
@@doctorposting sure she can patent it.. but defending a patent drains time and money
Lemme give y’all a lil update
After this episode of Shark Tank aired, most of her belts were sold out within 12 hours and Brooke himself told about it on Instagram. This belt was featured on the Today Show on June 15, 2023.
The current worth of Tucky Belt is estimated at $179k. Brooke has studied advertising and knows how to market a product.
It went viral on TikTok and Instagram to and it is still in business to date
Her negotiating skills are superb.
I love how she kept her smile
I hope everyone has a great lunch
hey, you too! eat well :)
haha you eat watching too?
This the first thing I ever saw on shark tank tht imma actually go find online to buy I NEED THIS
Scrub Daddy will always be my No.1
Oh wow.. all over temu, amazon and walmart from 1.50$ to 6.99$
Mark: I’m not gonna wait around, and u can’t counter; Also mark: u can counter
hahahahaha
She speaks beautifully and with such passion!
yet she had the worst negotiation pitch ever.
Yes. Mesmerizing
She seems fake.
She’s Former Miss Vermont. She’s trained
Yes yes, Barbara looking just SO gorgeous. Nobody can rock that 8yo boy private school hairstyle like Barb !
😂
Lmao
Leave Barbara alone she’s gorgeous!
@morningsunshine0216 Totally !!!!
Not true...
Lori on the other hand... Very true
Kevin missed his way here, perfect product for royalty deal, keep 100% and give me $4 a belt. Im so surprised Kevin didnt jump, the margins are crazy..
An elastic band, worth 1 cent
Literally
Daymond was flabbergasted 😂 😂
I noticed that to 😂
Tbf she seems like she comes from money already so its probably no big deal for her
Welp. That negotiating style is a Shark's dream 😅
Insane negotiation skills🤯
She understands the value and is smart which most entrepreneurs dont seem to grasp.
Hi❤I really like this video. Thank you very much❤
Brooke is gorgeous woman..😍
This is like the most stupid thing yet it seems so useful
I like fun little useful accessories like this.
We are very excited and really like your creative ideas, made it enjoyable to watch and keep watching, hope you continue this great idea forever.
. . . . what sort of B.S. comment is the above ?!?
Why did she go in for 30% she should have done 20%
Her business not yours who cares what you think own a business then you can ask for whatever you want dumas
@@jromerohoustone1024lol
@@jromerohoustone1024 I have a business. She made a mistake.

You ok?
I recently had this issue too! I ended up using a thin belt to do this exact hack but I will admit, it would've been nice to had a stretchy waistband like Tucky that fits and moves with my body
I'm positive I've seen slim belts for pants like this on Amazon. Isn't it the same thing but you're putting it on a different spot?
Using something to look slimmer is not a trend. I love it! Going to look for it now to buy it
Boy, is it hot out here! Now, where did I tuck away my tucky? 😂
It's funny how the gals weren't interested, but the guys were.
Great positive women came in did not cry did not beg did not talk about recent deaths in her family. Salute
I hope she succeeds
Why is Barbara even on this show?
There shud now be a segment of "worst negotiation ever"
"I countered with 1% because I didn't want to lose Damon." That has to be the stupidest thing I ever heard...😐
😂😂
I mean she has a deal with daymond and u hatin on a couch, who is the winner here 😉
I believe the producers make have a counter offer
😂😂🤣
From the title I assumed she was going to say 31%.
These most recent episodes of shark tank feel like commercials. Something's missing
Such a smart presentation followed by a stupid counter..
my mouth dropped at the end lmao
Kind of a genius move snagging 1% more from Daymond 😂 she could’ve said 35 and they would’ve been like no because this and that, 40 is my final offer. It’s a smallllll company she countered and got the deal good for her and her family. 61% of a watermelon
Brooke: "Hi, Sharks..."
Barbara: "I'm out."
The no bulk is really selling it for me
Why spend money buying that? Just use the cut off top part of an old pair of stockings, leotards, or Ieggings. (The waist band part)
She's smart and pretty! Perfect example of beauty with a brain! ❤
This item is all over Amazon from different brands.
That yucky is very silly, I am being nice.
A shark with more equity will be incentivized to work more on the company. This will work out well for both of them.
I don't think it is a fad, it won't go out of style.
In the summertime it is hot, people will roll up their shirt above the belly button and tuck it under bra to cool off.
Some of us, will get heat rash and break out if we can't cool of fast .
It's a good idea, but it's easy to copy.
All you have to do is get a 2 inch wide waistband and sews ends together and add a buckle and you have same result.
Or you can leave buckle off.
It's alot cheaper with or without delivery fee.
I think she already prepared and ready to be countered and give away 40% max since the beginning
@bisaular5333 - re: "I think ..." = Do you tend to "think" much in daily life, too?!?
Cool negotiations.
Barbara: because I am on this show; for those reason I am out.
What's their problem with audio-volume
This is Former Miss Vermont…she ripped this off. These have been on Amazon for years. And SHEIN. And Temu. She just capitalized on it. She’s grinding for sure but she didn’t invent this. Either way, happy for her!
Great idea. I will buy some elastic from a store and make it myself.
What a sweetheart
Actually have ran into this problem so many times
The other day it was tie dye at school. I didn’t have any tie dye shirts so I used my husband’s shirt and I was trying to tuck it in. This is a great product!
Off topic but where did she get those pink pants, they are incredible
Commenting in case someone ever knows and responds to your comment. I want a pair too!
"Why didn't I think of that?"
The way Daymond pointed out the middle right away I was so nervous cause the middle one is obviously bigger 😢
I like Brooke she s awesome blessings 🙏🏻❤️
Barbara: You called me Gorgeous, Im out!
Anyone can copy that thing. Surprised no one ask if theres a patent. Chinese KO’s will be all over Amazon if not already.
Promotes crop tops...
Comes out dressed like Little House on the Prairie/Sister Wives...
This entrepreneur is glowing. Congrats I believe they will be a multi million dollar company
ur not intelligent
They failed and got aids
Smart woman
Music's too loud.
Is this even a product? Basically can go to the local home improvement store and get a velcro harness...
Girl we all did this with one elastic hair tie in 2003
I think she did well.
I need one of those
She went on for exposure and got it! Her husband is Chad Knaus lol they don’t need money or even help with the product. Good for her for playing the show 😂
1:50 "a tool to unlock your closets" ?
So is this a handle or a key or is this like some sort of durable plastic crowbar for closets that are stuck and won't open?
Who puts a lock on their closet? I guess if you have something you want to hide from others or prevent them from accessing, but it's just weird.
Wait, it's an elastic band like a belt?
I feel I was lied to about being sold a tool for door locks and it ends up being basically a rubber band, for that reason, I'm out.
you are taking that phrase a little too literally xD but I see where the misunderstanding is
Daymond will turn it into a headband ..
1% counter threw me off!
I actually could probably use tucky in the gym
This is a good product fr
It’s not just 25 years old, I’m 30 I still want it come on!
In the age of narcissism this should sell
That broad is exhausting
now i know why its tucky tucky rumba XD
I want a tucky!
I feel like Barbara actually made a decent point here
Remember when Damon said he only invested in people who 'needed' the money and are desperate LOL
Smart girl 👏👏👏👏
🎙️ go dame
I’ve had regular belts like that in the past that were popular back in the 80’s and 90’s so this is not original. Now what I have never seen is someone tuck their shirt into it. So not an original product, but just a different way to use a belt
Once she said 39, I'd be out
