Thank you for your videos. It's hard finding anything for the LT series 250r/500r. Again THANK YOU!
Awesome thanks for watching
What size threads is the water pump bolt need to find one don't have the bolt please and thank you
I rebuilt the pump on my 500 with the same problem, weep hole leaks and I replaced the oil seal, mechanical seal and a new shaft. Well, a good used one anyway. Only thing is it still leaks coolant into the crank. I noticed the bolt that holds the impeller on doesn’t have the rubber seal anymore. Would that be why my coolant is leaking into the crank?
When this seal is out does it cause coolint to mix with your oil?
I recently replaced the impeller and shaft on my lt250r and when I crank the kick starter it looks like the impeller goes the opposite direction of the fins.. is this normal or is something backwards in the case that causes this? Thanks!
Hey man I live in Cali and it’s hard to find parts for my 1991 lt250r Suzuki
bro I been looking for the impeller for an 89 lt250r for model h,j,k,l,m,n do u got an extra one for sale
Do have the front fairing for sale. I have a 92 lt250r
Do u have any parts left
thanks man, this video saved me a lot of money.. I have a question, when should I change my water pump shaft?
the shaft will actually wear at the mechanical seal portion. so when you install a new seal and it continues to leak from the weap hole you know the shaft is no good
+Grinding Gears Garage awesome man, thanks. changed the mechanical seal today and continued to leak. thanks for the info. keep making the awesome vids
thanks man! we are really exited to get our truck done and on the road!
Grinding Gears Garage i have a question, i changed the mechanical seal and the water pump shaft and its still lesking out of the weep hole. the only thing i can think i did wrong is i didnt put RTV around the mechanical seal. would that be causing my problem?
no that shouldnt be a problem. did you replace the washer with rubber backing on the front and on the back of the impeller there is a ceramic seal as well
Are you selling the clutch cover for the lt250??
