- Sorry for the format, got so excited so forgot to place the phone in landscape mode...
This is a quick soundcheck on my Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory from 2020.
Race map is on the ECU. Runs very good with the Akrapovic. Wanted to buy the SC1-R but got hold of the CR-T for half price and decided to try it.
It is extremely loud as everyone says on CZcams, you cant really understand it until you hear it live.
I put the decibel meeter on the saddle for reference. Its on the setting "slow reading" and is pretty accurate when compared to my physical decibel meeter.
I have paid for everything by myself so there is no sponsorship involved at all unfortunately. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
SC sounds more aggressive, best exhaust for torque monster
Akro sounds better. Deeper tone... That SC would drive me nuts.
SC sounds extremely loud :)
did you install another tune other than race map for the crt?
Not yet. I want to test it first to see how it goes. Still winter here but that’s hopefully over within some weeks.
@@j0akim123 so no tune or race map at all yet? What are you planning to have?
@@KhiemDomoto it’s the Akra race map on it at the moment. Need to ride it before changing to another.
Actually the engine loses torque due to the short muffler (SC)
Have you taken it to a dyno and compared vs original or Akra? What was the difference?
No I haven’t but it’s a fact… the longer muffle of the Akra generates more exhaust counter pressure (if that makes sense)… check out the exhausts on WSBK bikes… none have a short muffler…
You are welcome to share the facts so I can read it. I’m having both models and can switch pipes very easy so that’s good. There is a lot of torque so it’s all good with both pipes 👍🏼
@@j0akim123 I checked again.. short muffler will add extra torque at high revs and loose torque at low and mid range… Long muffler has the opposite behaviour…
SC Hands Down
