I saw this movie the day it came out I was one of only 3 people who showed to see it , amazing movie . I enjoyed this as much as my crow soundtrack cassette lol 🤣 ( pour a lil out for my 1989 tempo that kept my music rockin )

I love this film and it's soundtrack, majority of people like to call this a Matrix ripoff/terrible/bad movie...but imo this movie has aged far better than the Matrix has...which is an alright set of movies, but Dark City felt far more compelling personally.

+Eman323 Irrelevant, with how popular Matrix was and how Dark City is pretty much a cult classic. Majority of people saw Matrix before even hearing about Dark City and bash it or believe Matrix did it better etc. The release of both films is close enough for people to still judge it.

Nowhere did I specifically state that I called Dark City a ripoff, I stated pretty clearly that majority of people believe it to be due to how popular Matrix became and how many saw it before Dark City. Often said people never even heard of Dark City prior to the Matrix and bash it/judge it for it etc etc...

I listened to the original version of this song. This isn't a remix. It's a completely different song which is far far better, and invokes far different thoughts. An interesting creation.
