Reminder that the good guys of the series basically tried out eugenics to create a super solider, and were shocked when it turned on them.
Don't forget x was created by the spark of starscream
Which likely why someone like Skorponok being loyal to Megatron. Likely Skorponok see the Maximal Elders are corrupted (for Prototype X is a huge example for the Elders autocracy even they likely doing that as an arms race against the Predacons and to prepare in case the Predacons are going to revolt.) and find the Tripedicus Council are taking too much time to 'liberate' Cybertron and see Megatron as a revolutionist to "free" Cybertron from both the Elders and the Councils (which he's actually using them as pawns for his schemes to become a dictator and didn't care for the Predacons at all.)
Hey, if the Predacons tried the same experiment, we could have had a super maximal...or something actually worse than Rampage.
@@ntinosaggelopoulos6718I thought they were trying to recreate a spark like Starscream’s, not recreate Starscream.
And not to mention that their Creation was also a Cannibal.
This was my jam from when I was a kid
The use of CGI has really improved over the episodes.
Yup. I give the animators major props given the creativity they used to make that which would have been otherwise clumsy looking look creative and visually interesting. Thank god there were no human beings(as such) in this show. CGI people are ugly as hell. Even in Hollywood movies, when ya can't tell the difference(Note the percentage of modern action and superhero movies which have a higher ratio of animation to filmed live action footage. Yet, people still cling to this silly notion that Hollywood is the be all-end all of translating a franchise, or even a single story.)
What Is CGI?
Unbeginner Beast machines suck I like Transmetals
@@ivanbombana7282 computer generated images.
Especially if you compare season 1 to season 3. A lot more detail was put in.
I remember watching this episode over and over again because it came on a dvd with one of the transformers toys. Made me fall in love with the show
Yeah, I had a VHS come with a package of Japanese Exclusive Beast Wars toys...LioConvoy, for intance(Whom I've lovingly re named Optimus Pride, for my purposes, yet another esteemed member of the "Council of Convoy House" in my proposals to every Hasbro/Takara company that'll take my mail). In any case, you are quite right, it was just around this part of season 2 that the show really became addictive. Even with the passage of another 20 years it's remained undiluted by the passage of time. Unless you're corny, and like to fuss about the CGI...which is still fun to look at, even if it is dated. Today it's all too "uncanny valley" looking. And the newer designs are hideous. Especially in the Hollywood movies. Which are still cartoons, I don't care what anyone says. I wonder how many animators and rotoscopers are in the credits of those heaps of money guzzling rubbish stories....
The intro has a nice solo.
Next time, if there's a pod with a bad protoform on top of energon, move the pod far away so there's no chance of it getting "Frankensteined" back to life
Sure they will do it after suffering so much.
5:30 epic entrance by Tarantulas lol
1:52 The first mention of Primus in Transformers animated media!
spiders spin their websss, yesss. but i spin them larger
To be honest, I'd have been glad to let Megatron keep that big psycho.
Yes I agree with u on that one my friend sometimes to tame a savage beast u hold something equally precious to it.

@@drakemiller9672 yes indeed my friend.
Cheetor farted.
Is there anything more quintessentially 90's than a giant blue metallic gorilla riding a hoverboard?
Rampage wasn't much of a rampage after this episode
Probably because a part of his life force has been sliced off.
Who knew Transformers could pass gas?
Rhinox did XD
@@jimtaylor294 beast mode yes, but not robot mode

>Energon Fart< ROTFLOL
The beast wars animation always reminded me of bionicle
...which ironically came half a decade later.
That's most likely because Bionicles are supposed to be half-organic and half-technological like the Techno-organic characters from Beast Mechines. Although, Bionicles actually look more Transmetal than Techno-organic in-terms of design.
i love this show
2:52 To 4:09. I Truly Love that after Transformers 1986 Films The Creators of Transformers G1 found a way to Bring Starscream Back from The Dead as a Ghost. I Truly Love Transformers Beast Wars found a way to Continue with that Idea not did that allowed them to bring Starscream’s Ghost Back in Beast Wars but The Creation of Protoform X/Rampage. Rampage Truly was The Stuff of Nightmares and The Late Campbell Lane (1935 - 2014) Truly did a Legendary Performance Bringing This Cruel and Sadistic Serial Killer, Cannibal and Monster to Life.
*BOOM!* "It wasn't me!"
Cheetor farted of Energon lol!
Primus help us all if that thing survived
Nice
5:20 - 5:28 sounds like a angry wife hahahahahahahah
And yet Silverbolt looks like an abused puppy when looking at her while being beaten.
5:09 He really shouldn’t have dodged that blast....
Silverbolt x Blackarachnia 🐺🦅🖤🕷🕸
I wonder what ever happened to the listening device because that could be quite useful, actually this would explain how in Changing of the Guard Megs knew exactly when the Maximals would try to retrieve Sentinel, found out when they were leaving and sent his troops to wait (also considering the maximal where near the west coast of North America and they're old base in Africa possibly around the Sudan area based of the smoke plum at the end of The Low Road and since they all would likely have fast jets it would only take them maybe under 2 hours to get there or less if they were really being speedy as in Crossing the Rubicon)
Things got even better when transmetal happened just sad that other guys didn’t get one and even died
I love this one!
I liked Protoform X from this episode The setting called Starscream clone is unique.
Darn shame all of season 2 is blocked from my country except this video
Whats your home country? Check out tubi.tv
2:36 I just realized Megs said that knowing Tarry was listening in. ;p But why was X kept with the other protoforms? If he was so dangerous I would have kept him far away from the others XD Whole ep makes me think the Maximals arent so "good" after all.
Velox415 they were all in *stasis* in the cargo hold and they would have dumped protoform X on a barren planet were they not sidetracked by Megatron.
He may have had a room of his own. The real question is why did they not simply dump that stasis pod into the nearest sun, instead of sneaking it onto an exploration vessel, packed with thousands of stasis pods..which the Maximals left in orbit, and on land when they left Earth in the final episode. Dont clean up after yourselves. I pretend Beast Machines never happened, and that the entire Axalon crew had been arrested upon returning to Cybertron. Enter: Optimus Pride, Ultra Mammoth, Magnaboss, Galvatron, and Magmatron. Lots of Politics, new sects of Cybertronians(earth-natives, as many of those stasis pods woud have hatched, and not a one Transformer would call Cybertron "home."), and a "clean up mission to Prehistoric Earth, resulting in head butting with the Vok and the return of the Quintessons
Not all soldiers are good
@@georgemink1813 they may have even considered doing that but clearly they got sidtracked.
@@georgemink1813 They probably figured he'd survive a trip in the sun.

Wow those leaves sure are….. leaves

I find it funny how even though they are in the future yet they still worship the same "God", Primus.
This is one reason why this show is NOT a DIRECT continuation of the original Transformers show. It's a continuation of the MARVEL COMICS that had primus as their God!💯
@@great159 Kidna continues from BOTH the show and the comic books....remember we had TWO Galvatrons from TWO possible futures in the Marvel run.
Because Primus is a definitive fact in the transformers universe
THE DARK SECRET OF AXILON JOURNEY?? HOW COME WE NEVER HEARD ABOUT THIS SIT IN TF G1 ????...
Secret being the operative word.
Because beast wars IS NOT a DIRECT continuation of the original Transformers show!💯 It's a continuation of the MARVEL COMICS.
Because the G1 writers were to busy doing blow and not worrying about aids.
Because tje Maximals werent around in G1....we saw Starscreams Ghost return in season three and possess several Decepticons(Octane, Scourge, Runabout...), but they hadn't made up the concept of the "Spark" at the time. For instance, when Starscream created the Combaticons in Season 2, he stole "Personality Components" of deactivated renegade Decepticons to bring his creations to life. The "Personality Components," as they were called, could now be written off as a Transformers "Spark Chamber." Back to your question at hand, as Starscreams Ghost showed up, it would indicate his spark is indestructible. If that much doesn't satisfy you, we might argue his Spark grew indestructible after Unicron had restored Starscreams body, which had last been seen careening off into the depths of space, after Galvatron layed him yet another royal beat down. My question is how did any Predicons(or perhaps the odd Maximal or two) evolve from Unicron? The only real lead we have is that the Gestalt Autobots, the Technobots/Computron were built by Grimlock using parts he stole from Unicrons head(Where'd it go in Beast Wars? It was in Orbit around Cybertron, unless we're going by Marvel Comic continuity). In any event I have a lot of fun making up my own sequel to this show with illustrations and scripts I frequently toss to Hasbro(IDW did want to hire me, but Hasbro stopped them. Common corporate stuff, but nevermind). Anyhow, I mostly use characters from Beast Wars 2nd and Neo, as well as the odd figure that never made it to the show from the U.S. toyline.
@@great159 Actually it's a bit of both.

I wonder where the Quintessons are in Beast Wars continuity? What about Nebulos? Or even Earth in "Modern" Beast Wars Cybertron days(not 4 million years prior to 1984).
This show is NOT a DIRECT continuation of the original Transformers show. It is a continuation of the MARVEL COMICS!💯
Both. Even the cartoon was produced by Marvel Entertainment.

Starscreem's spark was NEVER mutant!💯Transformers farting, kissing and acting WAR TOO HUMAN LIKE. This is ONE of MANY reasons why this show sucks!💯 BEAST WARS=💩 G1 ALL DAY EVERYDAY!💯
Incorrect. Cybertronians intermingled with Nebulons, Humans, becoming more organic as Headmasters, Target Masters, and even Pretenders. It took me three years up until mid season 2 of Beast Wars to change my mind from where your mindset is. Everything after Beast Wars, however. Every modern Hollywood movie(which people still don't call a cartoon, despite there's more computer animation than there are living actors...human beings, who didnt matter enough to kill in the real G1, to most Decepticons) and every tv "reinvention" of G1 plotlines, have been absolute RUBBISH. No one makes anything new anymore. This is NOT the future I was banking on. Lazy, unimaginative, talentless hacks, who only re-make old shows. Nearly everythign aired on TV today is so jam packed with propaganda, and the latest Politically Correct updates, watching anything after 2001 is like being beaten over the head by O'Brien in Orwells 1984.
Incorrect!
