Hi Giles, I've installed for the first time and I followed your instructions from the other video (setting up the dir for pyver and pyproj folders). Now I have a few questions, how do I start to use it? Do I have to go through cmd every time to activate the venv before I start working on a project? And every project I initiate I need to create a folder within pyproj for it? Thanks!
We want a hole series on these types of videos. Specifically for data science. For beginners, it is really hepatic to install different package of python. And also make videos on how to work and maintain our venvs.
Question! I had watched this video a few months ago when I installed Python 3.10, so I did add it to PATH that time. I now want to install version 3.11.1 so I deleted the previous version. What do I do? Do I add this version to the PATH as well, or leave it alone since I did it in the previous version? Also, let's say I skip this step. Is there a way to add python.exe to PATH later on? Or if I add right now, is there a way to remove it later?
if you want to understand why, you need to endure the explanation of the pro's and con's of good and less favourable methods.. if you prefer to brainlessly follow a random step by step recipe, then look somewhere else. But if you encounter issues you may find yourself in trouble due to lack of context. Good luck.
I don't add it to PATH when I'm on Windows. That way I'm always sure I operate with within a virtual enviornment. By contrast, I am kind of annoyed when on Linux I accidentally install packages to the global environment.
Why after choosing that botton of path another window appears asking me if I accept tgis app makes changes on my lap? Can you explain it plz it's urgent And the icon doesn't appear when I pass this option of path and everything seem okey and the notification said was installed successfuly😢
I'm from non-IT background but always interested to know every single minute details, no one mentioned the reason for marking that check box except you.
The thumbnail is me literallly😂 After sitting 4 hours plus on my computer everyday trying to figure out all these errors that come with downloading kali hopefully I don’t get problems with python
Ok how does an old man have so much knowledge, like how?!?! I really think he is like op at coding, also by "old man" I wasn't trying to be rude about that oops :/ and you have some awesome content tbh. :)
But you had us press Path here and there is Modify left on the installer where which Customize install location is grayed out. I am not able to set up Virtual Env.

Oooh, Noob here. I guess I got it installed okay but I was expecting a "program" not a command prompt. It's been 50 years since I got my Associates degree in Computer Science. Apparently I've forgotten some things.
Here's my problem : I have python and then loaded jupyter notebook. EVERY TIME I start to use it, I can't find it! I have to reload jupyter EVERY time ARGHHH! Anybody??
this is a great channel. Really good content. Except for some cliche to mint views in some of the videos. But thanks for sharing the knowledge. Appreciated.
Hi Sir now I am pursuing integrated mtech 5 years course specialization in data science now I completed 3rd can you please say how to and how much I need to prepare to get decent job as fresher in data science sector because there are vast number of topics I am very confused like upto how many concepts I need to cover as a fresher to get decent job in data science sector
I had python installed and I thought there was an issue so I uninstalled it. I have also checked on powershell that it is not installed and it's not installed, however, when I try to install it now I get the following error: 0x80070642 - User cancelled installation. But I did not cancel anything. it simply backtracks the install and gives me this error. What do I need to do to fix this?
I'll be watching your virtual environments vid next but since I am setting up a brand new system and I am interested in Data Science and Machine Learning, can I ask how I should make decisions about adding to path or not, and setting virtual environments or not, if I am going to use the Anaconda install, which is whet I did on my last pc?
And what do I do if I DO already have it installed? What the hell? What's the point of checking for it if you're only going to explain one scenario? Thanks for informing me it matters I guess? Now I'll... do nothing.
damn dude, your videos are really well structured and edited! way to go
Great content as always! I'm really grateful for finding your content that allowed me to finally start a Tech CZcams channel myself. Thanks!
Straight to the point and easy. Found funny how you just appear outside out of nowhere. Thank you!
Same here! found it funny too, haha! i was almost always anticipating a different scene after we make changes on the PC
Yeah! He was recording this when having a walk in a park.
thank you for clearly and concisely explaining the reason behind this
thank you for making this video :)) seems like the only one up here on CZcams that actually explains the steps and the reasonings behind everything!!!

I can’t remember if I checked the PATH checkbox or not. Is there a way to check? Would it be ok to uninstall and then reinstall?
Thank u for making this video I had the same problem
I was scouring the internet for the meaning of add python to PATH, glad i found this vid

You saved me loads of problems thanks.
I have done that. Now what? Its not like there is a desktop icon saying Python Editor for me to click
Search in windows bar python, than click right Open File location, click right, sent to desktop. Keep working!
Forgive a simple question: I don't see a "virtual environment" video in your collection. What specifically are you referring to?
Hi, I recently installed and at the end of the setup, there is the option to "Disable path length limit", should we do something about it?
Great great stuff, I wish I could like the video twice! Excellent for beginners! Can't wait to get started
Question!

Dont find this videos very helpful. I am looking for step by step without listening too much words. This is not a talk show

Ton of tanks mister, you helped me to complete a task.
Why after choosing that botton of path another window appears asking me if I accept tgis app makes changes on my lap?
Can you explain it plz it's urgent
And the icon doesn't appear when I pass this option of path and everything seem okey and the notification said was installed successfuly😢
Bro you helped me a lot!! I was searching for 3 hours why it didn’t work!
why do i need to add python to path?
What laptop was that and would you recommend it?
Great video, but I can't find your video on virtual environments? thanks
I'm from non-IT background but always interested to know every single minute details, no one mentioned the reason for marking that check box except you.
Kinda wished the title was "Installing Python on Windows". Would have saved me a few seconds. All my machines are Linux now.
The thumbnail is me literallly😂
After sitting 4 hours plus on my computer everyday trying to figure out all these errors that come with downloading kali hopefully I don’t get problems with python

good video but why do you tell us to type python --version when just typing python with no parameters does basically the same :)
You should change your channels name and make all types of content because you are great :)
I have Python installed, but I want to upgrade it to the latest version, i.e. Python 3.12, do I still install it?

Sir, tell me one thing could we install Python on windows 10 (OS)environment... Tell me how?

So I reinstalled python about 3 different times and I believe I added all of them to my paath… is that a problem? And what can I do to undo it? 😅 halp
But you had us press Path here and there is Modify left on the installer where which Customize install location is grayed out. I am not able to set up Virtual Env.
Thank you very much sir. Much appreciated.
i installed it, how do i launch it??
if by using the command python --version your python is still not recognized then use the command py
