Art that forces people outside the comfort zone makes them open their eyes and think. Yes, the brush stroke has power to change and transform humanity. Controversial art should be shown in order for people to decide it's artistic merits or not on their own. Thanks.

what is controversial now? What was controversial 20 years ago is now government propaganda. IN Canada artists are the most brainwashed of people here. They are almost like government servants. They would cancel themselves before they did any thing controversial. Political correctness killed art in the west. Even comedy movies are too controversial in Canada.
Dada can't be repeated. It's not shocking anymore at all.... not in a hundred years at least. People act like dada is still shocking but nobody is shocked. It's weird how people pretend it is.
These shocking artists would all be politically incorrect if they were alive now and hated by the artists in Canada.
