PROS: (A) Handles well (B) Lots of room (C) Even in bad weather it seems to keep a good grip on the road. (D) The outside is nicely shaped. (E) Surprisingly stylish inside CONS (A) It takes some getting used to because of the size. (B) It drinks gas like coffee.
My 2000 ES got 28 in town and 33+ on the road..... Must not know how to drive I guess....
I remember renting one of these for a cross-country trip. I resolved to not get hotel rooms and sleep in the car. Even though the seats are large and relatively comfortable for driving, there was just no sleeping in them. I was trying to get comfortable in the back seat and accidentally pulled the seat release. I looked into the trunk and thought, "Eureka!" Folding the seats down and sticking my feet into the trunk gave me a solid 6' of sleeping space. The only thing I was missing was a sleeping pad. That problem was solved with a quick trip to Walmart. Sure enough, for the rest of the trip, armed with a sleeping bag, a foam mattress, I reclined in comfort. From then on, whenever I test drove a car, I made sure there was a rear-seat pass through for my next cross-country road trip.

Martin Sage You are accurate! It was a lot of miles on the car, but it did have a new power train. I can't recall the mileage on the new engine/gearbox, but it actually drove really nicely. I was surprised, in fact.

These cars are very good in the winter and very comfortable but they rust easily and have overall poor reliability.
Get the 3.2 or 3.5 stay away from the 2.7 v6.
PROS: (1) Handles well. (2) Lots of room. (3) Has good grip on road, even in bad weather. (4) Rides smoothly. (5) Stylish on inside and outside. CONS (1) Takes some getting used to because of the size. (2) Drinks gas like it's coffee. (20 mpg if you're lucky!)
I have just bought one and love it. Sound speakers and radio are great. Just Spent 650.00 on f
Whole front end work and parts. Put new struts on front. Breaks are new. All electric sets. Silver outside / grayish black int. This car drives like an Italian sport car. Go around a curve and you don't even feel it. Stirring is very tight . It drives so Smith and lady's like it. Lots of room inside and trunk.
