There's good evidence also that a couple of the Russian prisoners who requested their coffee to be served white were given coffee made using semi-skimmed milk. -- Atrociously, their Ukrainian captors had neglected to check whether full cream milk was preferred. I cannot recall a _single thing_ the Russian armed forces have _ever_ done to any Ukrainian to deserve such disrespectful treatment in response?

This was a ridiculous interview. Kira did a fantastic job answering insulting and ill-informed questions. Has this interviewer WATCHED U.S. Defense dept press conferences of past few days or seen what Biden had to say. They are PROUD of Ukranians, fully support Ukrainians. And Ukrainians are NOT killing deliberately killing and torturing civilians as Russians do, they are not capturing civilians, and I have not seen one video of a civilian being harmed. But it IS a warzone & there are always ancillary casualties. Which is why war is hideous, so Russia HAS TO STOP. NOW.

Putin has notoriously ignored peace treaties. Why would you negotiate with him. The Budapest Memorandum is ironic here. Under the agreement, the signatories (Russia, Britain, USA) offered Ukraine "security assurances" in exchange for its adherence to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and for Ukraine to surrender the Soviet era Nukes on their soil).
True - but what in that memorandum commits the UK or the US to ,go to war to defend Ukraine's sovereignty - none However this memorandum was cynically broken by Russia

Do a little research before you interview an esteemed and knowledgeable guest. All western allies have provided Ukraine with approval to use the weapons being used in Kursk. All western reporters have reported that from what they can see Ukraine is following all the rules of international law with the taking of prisoners and treatment of civilians in Kursk. Blindfolding prisoners is common practice for prisoner transport and the UK military also does so. It would be a good idea to read your own newspaper before conducting such an interview.

Ask yourself a question. When was the last time Russia won a war without help from the English speaking world. Napoleon’s invasion of Russia. France was fighting England at the same time. Crimean War. Russia lost. WWI. Russia lost. Russia lost it’s entire army twice before the US entered the war and the Allies fed, clothed, improved Russian weapons production dramatically and carried them to victory on American trucks, rails and locomotives/rolling stock. The Russian military is inherently corrupt and therefore weak and with the exception of 1943-1945 when Americans held their hands they have never been remotely competent.
What kind of battle news is that? Ukrainian soldiers into Russian territory? What will be happening, Russian incierclement? Ukrainian soldiers are not human beings? They are just scapegoat?
