- I had the honor of collaborating with Lyle from @jackofallspades98 for his annual "Dominoes vs. Machines" series! In this screenlink collab, we take turns battling each other in a war of chain reaction art! I built the domino scenes while Lyle built the chain reaction machines. Who do you think won this round?

What do you get when you combine the worlds best machine builder and worlds best domino builder? THE WORLDS BEST VIDEO!!!!!! My favorite domino clip was definitely the one at 3:20, I love when the build falls in a different and unexpected way! And the field starter spiral..... SOOOOO SATISFYING!!! YOU GUYS ARE UNBELIEVABLE THIS IS ONE OF THE COOLEST VIDEOS I'VE EVER SEEN!!!!!!!!!!!! The creativiy for this was absolutely incredible and I loved everything this video had to offer!
To go further into the domino side, I loved your approach of making some clips satisfying, while making other clips intricate, and it all was just really cool to watch! I give you massive props for making a thumb out of dominoes XD Plus, your intricate ideas, such as the domino walls on the stairs trick, was unlike anything I've seen before! Absolutely incredible job on the domino-side of this Lily!

Perhaps the aspect I found most enjoyable in this installment is that your domino clips exude a sense of minimalist beauty - they don’t seem like they’re trying too hard to impress, instead effortlessly highlighting the “art” aspect of dominoes. This is very reminiscent of early DvM, I feel, and imho it is a pleasant break from the fast-paced or complex (both equally cool btw) styles seen in previous years e.g. Micajo or GranTheMan.
This is amazing, I throughly enjoy every moment of this!

Thoroughly in love with the magnet trick and the flexing squares trick, also the trick with the trampoline is so silly and whimsical. You really pulled out your silly and whimsical toolkit for this one. And of course, all of Lily’s setups were beautiful to look at, before, during, and after they topple. Well done to you both!

I love watching dominoes topple. But I have to tell ya, The machines were awesome. They totally won.
THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY SICK! I've never seen you built domino tricks that mind-blowing and colorful before! This is probably my favorite video of yours! The walls trick at 3:26 and the so nimod fields at 3:33 were my favorites! 🌈🤯 I'd vote for you to be the winner of round X!
This is such a big moment for the community, people have talked for a while about the possibility of you doing a DvM episode, and it's amazing to see it finally happen. But on top of that, the video itself is absolutely amazing, You came up with a lot of highly creative ideas and each of your clips was designed with a level of skill and mastery that could only come from you, the two title clips were the best examples of this in my opinion. And for Lyle's clips, he's somehow outdone himself once again as his clips ranged from being very clever to straight up jaw dropping. The flexing tiles and the magnet magic clips were such unique and interesting ideas, and the bouncing track and helicopter track tricks were genuinely two of the craziest machine tricks I've ever seen. Great work to both of you, thanks for making one of the best chain reaction videos of the year!
This was an amazing video. From the way Dominos vs Machines was spelled out at the start to all of the mesmerizing falldowns and the fascinating & unexpected machines. I have to say that I think we all won this match up.

There's nothing you can do manipulating pixels with CGI programs that can beat this real-time, real-space demonstration of these artists' creativity and technical ability. Yeah!
I really like the start where you throw a wrench into a domino wall that is shaped like a domino and also the fieldstarter in-out spiral trick was so good.

Using clear dominoes between the letters is such a cool idea
I’ve seen Lily using the Trix Trax plenty of times, but that was something else! And the domino pieces felt kinda mechanical in a really good compliment
OMG, I have been super excited by all the stories you published in the last few months because somehow I knew they had something in common, this episode was special and even more so knowing that I always knew you were going to appear, knowing that you are in the most special moments like the 100th episode of Domino Chain.
What surprises me the most is your ability to combine tricks and also to invent new ways to fall the structures like in minutes 1:09 and 3:08 (possibly a variation of the slanted wallback technique) and in 3:26 with that kind from backwimo with dominoes made of dominoes hehe, it shows that you are really inspired by some of the best tricks that we do and invent in the community and I loved your freestyle way seeing that it is not necessary to do many things to impress, at the same time that it is very inspiring for my future DP8... good video and I honestly think that you won this tenth round! 😉👍
