Looks like they got the heim joints screwed too far in making it so the ball joint is too far out. What do you think about JD performance arms? Looking at the +1 mgc version.
What extended a-arms do you recommend that for are strong - I’m a big and tall man with a new 2021 raptor and just got the big three and I’m riding mostly fire control roads in Southern Cali. Just thought I would ask , thanks for all the vids and advice on them , world of help.

I’m loving my Teixeira Tech long travel +.5 for XC racing on my 17 Raptor......built to take some hits for sure....remember guys ,...if your shopping around for Aarms that the arms built for the carbureted YFZ 450 fit 100% perfect on the 700....thx for the vid Dan...hope to see some new topics like this more often!
Can u reverse, and put raptor arms on 450
@@poopiewhoopie yes but only on the carburetor YFZ450 models. Efi YFZR are different

Shocks are too short
The shock is laid down to much as well. Generally the shock and lower a arm should be close to 90 degrees at full bump.
Is full flight a good a arm brand ? Asking for my 2013 z400
Full flight will not give you these problems.

@@alexmorrell9454 says who?. Full flight has lifetime guarantee. My full flight do not flex at all and have many hrs on them lol. If I ever have any issues they will replace for free. Usa made not china junk. I'd say these are alba racing for sure lol. ✌️💪 Full flight all day.

@@alexmorrell9454 yes they look like alba's but are much stronger. I don't suggest anyone gets a heim joint as they wear and have issues. Elite series full flights way better. And they have improved heim joints now. But heims are bad designs. Dirt ruins them. That's why they flex. Bad heims. Lol

im not in the suspension game, these ones look like the loneStar ones .... Houser seems to be a higher end mx/xc based product with good design.
I’ve run housers and they work great for me.. either way they’re both very similar design and high end product.
A year late to comment but houser, lone star, and roll design are the only 3 worth running

Yes they are. I belong to a few raptor group pages and lots of people run Alba and said they had no issues and recommend them
ASR are known to be strong and designed that way. Are you saying they are no good?
Those arent asr. Asr has lower adjustment aswell these dont.

You just have the wrong spindles for those arms
The got the heim joints all the way in lol. Your supposed to split the difference. Please dont work on 4 wheelers if you dont know what your doing.
Whut that?!? Is that an upper a arm with rose joints AND bushes? No mate, that's not how it should be done. The whole idea of rose joints is to eliminate the flex that is inherent with bushes for maximum feel and accuracy from the suspension. (I'm newb to quads)
Just look at cars that run these...
I'd recommend doing away with the long bolt and middle sleeve/spacer if running these and weld an extra set of tabs for lower arm similar to what the top arm has.
Man, those are a bad design.

nothing wrong with alba they have improved there a arms and bushings im gonna get some long travel for mine soon and these in the video are not alba there some ebay special
@@cherry2036 yeah I did research and going with the Alba's also. I was looking at eBay ones but heard nothing but negative things about them. So it's good I didn't go that route

If they are fullflight he set them up way incorrectly. I have fullflights and they arent like this at all
Those pieces are made to flex, Walsh does the same design it is a heim joint it is made to rotate you guys
There is nothing wrong with the design. Just about every manufacturer has the same basic design for the upper arms. 4130 Chromoly is designed to flex without bending. The ball joint is way out because they were installed/set up wrong. Take up half the distance between the heims and ball joint. Don't blame the arm, blame the person who assembled it.
How am I going to stay away? If I don't know what brand? I'm hoping that Chinese cuz I wouldn't buy that b******* anyways.
