    just the info i needed! thanks. i'm gonna take those big seat bolts out with my impact drill with 15mm socket.

    Have replaced the battery on two Durangos and a Jeep Grand Cherokee. You do not have to take the seat bolts out or do anything with the seat other than slide it all the way forward. The auxiliary stop start battery should be removed first if equipped and the other battery will simply slide right out as they share a mounting bracket. It's heavy but can be slid out without touching the seat. You will require a 10 mil and a 13 mil socket with an extension.

    All you had to do was slide the seat all the way forward and you could’ve accessed it easily

      Some folks that may be the case, but I am 6 ft 290 and I don’t fit into small spaces well. It’s what worked best for me. Appreciate you watching and commenting.

      @@dustinbeisley5428 Makes sense. I’m far from your height so I was good to go. 😂 It did take the right angle to get it out of there with the seat still in. Great video that helped me out.
