I bought a wide-margin journaling bible for the first time last year. I had no idea how it would change my life! A strange thing..the more I write in it, the more I love this Bible! The notes I come across, the new revelation I got as I studied, the feel of the pages where I’ve written, it is more loved every day. So don’t be afraid!! 😃

I love it when someone opens their Bible and I see big splashes of color! I also have anxiety when writing in my Bible, but I know I have to get over it. Someday.
How lovely to hear a wonderful British accent. I'm also British and live in Pontypridd in South Wales. The only folks I've seen doing this tend to be American but it's great to hear your new Bible is now being used. I'm an underlined and a journal keeper at times. I've been looking at this kind of use of Bibles and am keen to have a go. I find writing out the Word also a big help.xx

I was nervous about writing in my Bible but I just went with it and marked important passages. I don't have room for writing so I have to use post-it notes.
I was nervous about writing in mine. But I decided to do it, and it’s been great. I just use black ink and just do notes and not any art or anything. But it’s been great, because I’m able to go back and re-reference stuff I’ve learned. I’ve really enjoyed noting things I learn along the way.
I also had something the other day that was too long to hand write, so I typed it and glued it into the spine as kind of an extra page. Didn’t take up any room, but it’s something I think I like, because it was a note that truly added to my understanding of the passage I was reading.

I love the interleaved Bibles! So much extra room to write, does it feel huge though?
I used to highlight and underline in my Bible. I had one that was full of it. But then I felt like I didn't want the highlights to distract from what new things God wanted to speak to me about those verses. So I got a new Bible and the highlighted Bible I gave to someone who wanted a Study Bible and didn't mind a highlighted Bible. But everyone has different approaches to things at different times. God is Awesome !
Thank you for this, sister. I bought a really nice interleaved Bible which arrived today, and I’m paralyzed. I’m even considering returning it because I’m ruminating over making mistakes, or having ugly handwriting, etc. AHH!

An option for your previous Bible is to have it rebound. Also you could add pages into it. On CZcams HowToFaithALife has done that with her Bible and it’s so massive and beautiful as a visual representation of the time spent with God.

last week i got super excited and bought a new bible with bible pens. started to underline every attribute of God and feel asleep. woke up the next morning to a voice telling me not to write in my bible. i didnt wanna open my eyes because i wanted to hear what was being said.
my first mistake was not bringing it to God first. i was asking people what they thought about it, because there was still apart of me that was hesitant. the reason for this is because, the bible is alive with the breath of God. im not fully taking in His word picking out what i want and using it for prayer. prayer comes from the heart and its who we are that matters to Him.
the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words
I just so would love to see one of these in person! And they have a pink one coming out this spring!
I find my Bible study so much more meaningful and enjoyable when I highlight, take notes, use arrows and mark things up! ❤ love your new Bible study!!
I don't have a journaling Bible so I use posts it notes due to narrow margins. I loved this video and thank you for sharing your notes with us.

I totally understand about not wanting to miss up in your new Bible. But I personally would rather write in the Bible instead of using sticky notes, because sticky notes can fall out of our Bibles and we could lose our notes.

It was interesting to hear that you like the margin lines in your Bible to be a bit bolder. The Bible I am currently using has no margin lines (and minimal margin space) and I can see how lines would be a help. My notes are placed wherever they seem to best fit, which is fine for the moment, but will make it difficult to review them in the future. I very much like your idea to use several colors to highlight a chapter and then highlight your notes to each passage in the same color.
I always feel this way when I get a new Bible. Aren’t we silly 😅.

I have a few Bibles that I am scared to write in too!
I have been eyeing the hosanna bibles for about a year, it’s been really expensive and I haven’t taken the plunge for it. They came out with the spring collection and they made a Shiloh a baby pink version of this one with the slightly flowers on the front with butterflies, I know I’ll feel the same way like how could I write in something so pretty! I should play this video when I get mine so we can write it in together lol

Hello, I was wondering if someone could help me regarding the Marlo NLT edition shown here.
I noticed on the Hosanna Revival website that if you look at this bible someone has reviewed it saying there is scripture missing from it.....does anyone know if this is true? I was going to order but now im concerned!

Love your accent. Are you Scottish? I've almost gotten the KJV Notetaking large print Bible, but the paper just seemed too thin and easily tearable, so I didn't buy it. I used to have a CSB Notetaking Bible by Hosaana Revival hardcover which was excellent.
No but I live very close to Scotland so have a strong accent, similar to Scottish 😊
I did the same thing then I finally broke down and put a pray at sticker at the new testament now it on now I got the ESV interleaved bible hardback for 20 dollars off Facebook yeah

I use the zebra mildliners and they don't bleed through the pages. The page thickness is the same as most Bibles. Hope that helps!

Hi. No I just choose a colour scheme for each book and then alternate the colours as I take my notes. I tried colour coding and found it too difficult to keep up with.

No, it is NOT a '"catholic book." William Tyndale and John Wycliffe were not Catholic. They were martyred by the Catholic Church for bringing the Bible to the people.
