overall ur a pretty good player only thing i can recommend that helps allot is gourmet voucher when you eat a meal so you dont have to roast a ration at the start or you can make energy drinks. also put your buffs/tools/crafts/comsumables on the quick radial action wheels. you can cultivate like all the nice consumables+do steamworks for the rest. optional missions help allot for growing 4 different things at once+better fertilizer.
