My memory of these episodes has been replaced entirely by nostalgia. Can't wait till you guys do Season 4. Missed most of that one due to... er... *reasons*

You are wise, Giles is indeed the best (main) character :) I also love the skills - Willow: hacking, Xander: insecurity :D And tbh, Angel IS annoying and rather pointless unless you're into the romance which I'm not. Next season will hopefully be less painful for you guys :D

"I grew up in the 90s and hated it back then and I hate it now" has to be one of my Favorite lines in the Series

i watched angel without having watched buffy. i'm watching this series instead.
angel still made sense on its own but there's some references that seem to have more weight when you know where they come from.

I find it really interesting when your opinions go so strongly against the zeitgeist. Puppet Show is often considered to be among the worse episodes of the season, largely due to the dummy being unconvincing, especially when moving around. Buffy fighting the dummy looks more like she's throwing around a prop than having a fight. But it does have a lot of really great moments, so I don't disagree with your opinion at all. On the flip side, both Nightmares and Angel are considered among the better episodes, and both for the same basic reason, character development. They are both seriously flawed, but with some juicy character meat. I think as with Puppet Show, it depends on what flaws you're willing to look past and what meat you're most interested in.
I'm really enjoying your commentary so far. I hope you're having fun doing it.

So.. The Master, hes a Vampire, his minions are vampires, and he sends henchmen, who are vampires out to kill for him, in this case, what the hell does Airplane kid eat, while he is held captive by the master all that time ?

I enjoyed the series but don’t mind the shade you threw at Season One, which is a sub par season. Things pick up a lot in Season 2.

As a custodian by trade, this ending hit different. Janitors always get stuck cleaning up huge messes. This poor bastard is basically rolling up to a crime scene. I hope the night crew is getting overtime for this nonsense

You guys haven’t seen anything yet. The show gets exponentially better every season. It is just finding its footing in season 1, which is by far the weakest season of the show. Strap your seat belts, because it’s going to be a WILD ride.

season 2 is waaaayyy better than the first one. in fact the first season is not only worse than 7th season.
