i'm quite enjoying tuning in every week to hear two guys be totally wrong about the best show ever made :D
fwiw based on the sort of complaints they have, they should like the later seasons more, but who knows

@@ts4392 it's a show for people with emotional intelligence and a sense of humour. These guys need to give up now .

Spike was not supposed to be a long term character. Whedon was overruled by the suits.

Buffy only dealt with Angel this season? She had PTSD, she struggled with her studies, she struggled with her mom's boyfriend, she dealt with her mom's disappointment, she tried to get out of slayer duties sneaking to parties, she considered her future employment opportunities, etc. You may not lile any of these stories or how they were told, but you're wrong that she just dealt with Angel.

Some of the things that you guys harp on is just awful to be frank. There is a reason for why the characters behave the way they do. Giles explained day one, why people outright pretend supernatural events don't occur no matter how blatant.

Season 3 is great but plz if you still don't like the show after season 3, give up.

The premise for this channel is that they are reviewing a show that they already thinks sucks . Nothing that they see will change their minds . I really can't see the point if you're just watching a show to trash it . Fair criticism is good but they are literally looking for reasons to hate it .

Honestly I missed out on a lot of season 3 so i was kind of confused but I am kind of hoping your reviews clear up any confusion I had with season 3/fill In the blanks.

Ya'all really should watch this video this guy made, explaining the show. You just ain't getting it.

My favorite part that you need to hear: "Buffy isn't about the monsters, it's about Buffy's path becoming an adult."
Seriously, watch his video. In under 6 minutes, I promise this whole thing will make much more sense to you.

If people need to watch a video explaining the show instead of just getting those information from *watching* the show itself, doesn’t it prove that the show really isn’t that good at conveying stuff to its audience?

Honestly I felt season 2 better then season 1 it's just it still had season 1 problems. Season 3 is where things get weird. However season 4 is where I found things really do start to improve.

Rofl who hyped season 2?! It's got moments. Great critique. I wish I could eternal sunshine myself just to watch btvs & angel for the first time again. I got dragged into its viewing by a coworker/ friend around 2004.

I feel season 2 is arguably the best season. It’s of course flawed and certainly has a decent amount of throwaway episodes. But I’m not sure this series ever did anything better than the Angelus arc. This season also has some of the show’s best standalone episodes. While the characterization for the entire ensemble is fairly solid throughout. And the two-part finale is fantastic. Many have made the argument that seasons 5 and/or 3 are better or at least less “messy”. However, if you’re not at least intrigued and semi invested by the of season 2, it’s unlikely that you’ll ever be. It just seems like this isn’t the show for them.

I'm glad at the end you guys both acknowledge the quality of this show. I like you and I'll watch your vids but whoever told you this show was good should be fired from your staff.

It's a widely revered show. So they'd likely have to fire their entire staff and live in an alternate universe.
