Darkcanx8 wars still going on in lore pretty sure its ended since fallout 4 but the western brotherhood is at war with the ncr in new vegas also its not really in the game its extra lore
I think that was the most interesting part of the video. What Ulysses said was right. Soon after Caesar’s legion reached the ocean it turned on it’s self and died.

It's also one of the four nations at the beginning that Caesar has a focus giving him annex war justifications on to conquer them.
So, basically everyone in New California was eaten alive by super mutants, until the Legion, now looking like fucking heroes, came in and liberated the survivors. Vulpes is recognized as a national hero and founder of an Empire that retakes North America and beyond and aspires to plant its banner on every world. See you soon, Zetans.

They usually make a faction with the other Elite tribes, and then fight Heaven's Gate. Which forces them into war with the White Legs or Eighties. The non-historical path must have made them less aggressive.

Once you do that, play as any nation.then, go to the decisions tab (or whatever it’s called) and you will see an option to play as that nation. You will be switched to the North Pole Enclave based in Alaska. It had a *unique* tech tree. One of the paths is literally *YOU BETTER WATCH OUT*

@@jjustice there are so many more options with the Enclave reborn submod though... focus tree is way more extensive and will ultimately allow you to seamlessly persue the reintegration of all territory on the map into a reformed nation. It's fun to have that grand goal to persue.

Whenever I play the most random of stuff happens. The most weird was when the NCR was at war with the Rapids and the Mojave Raiders the Brotherhood-NCR started. The NCR had New Vegas, New Reno, Vault City, and NCR Rangers and the Western Brotherhood only got Arroyo after starting the war. New Vegas and Vault City didn't join the war and in only a few months the NCR was destroyed and the south tip of the NCR went to the Rapids the rest mostly went to the Brotherhood. Later the Western Brotherhood declared war on Klameth and the Shi and I guess the Brotherhood only stationed troop land border, because instantly the Shi hop over the bay border and eventually win the war against the Western Brotherhood and Arroyo. Lastly, New Vegas was losing a war with the Mojave Raider. The only submod I had on was the radio for this game. Most games the NCR neither dies or take too long in their expansion and New Vegas gets the dam, which seems to stops the NCR-Caesar's Legion war.
I find that really odd given that the NCR’s whole thing is expanding rapidly Even if their supply lines can’t handle it. In addition once you drive them back you’d actually be pretty hard pressed to beat them given they can move troops, and their superior equipment to the front lines faster. Only person who really has a chance of beating them is House, and he’s not interested in taking them down he sees them as valuable business partners. Yes man could technically do it but neither him nor the courier have the experience to properly lead.
@@awesomechainsaw idk, the NCR ai just struggles for some reason to me. I usually play a smaller country, both major and minor, and I usually strengthen said country, because I'm not very good at hoi4. I wouldn't think that strengthening my country would have such a dramatic effect on the NCR when I don't share a land border, I'm not a target of the NCR, and I don't plan to target the NCR. Idk, I don't really understand hoi4 ai sometimes.
Always loved the fact that every major faction in Fallout treats you like just another goon to throw at the grinder even when you're literally the deciding factor of the big main battle, could switch sides on a dime, or literally wipe said faction off the face of whats left of Earth singlehandedly
I like seeing the full map of the game showing all the faction's. I wished the NCR would of lasted longer seeing them fall in the beginning was pretty sad.

It was just as interesting to see where nothing happened. The Sky Reavers and Cyclops did nothing the whole game. It would be cool if the mod developers watched a couple of these to see where they could tweak things. I am in the middle of a Timekeepsers play through, where House killed the legion after Vulpes won the civil war, but once they came in contact with the Mexican culture groups, nothing happened. I am currently consolidating Oregon, Washington and California after the great conflict between me, the Crimson Acolytes, and Equestrian California. Then I will turn my attention south. The Timelord's armies will keep at least one timeline safe!
There are some really interesting settings that you can select if you look at the bottom of the list when tuning the power of each nation, which allow you to encourage certain AI paths. You can also break up the big boys. I would try that for a start. Then consider empowering Tlaloc and see if he can consolidate the Mexican super AIs before he dies. There is also an option for either an undead plague or a zetan alien invasion to happen in area 51. Finally you can trigger Equestria. There are 5 video ideas. Have fun
Love how the Shi literally just leaned back and did literally nothing as the NCR and BOS blew each other into bits, super mutants from the north overran everybody *but* them and the Legion invaded all of New California...and still survived the entire timelapse unscathed.
I miss the old FODD (FallOut DoomsDay) mod for Darkest Hour, I found the nations there to be much more interesting like Kurtz' Camp, Robot Nation, God Machine, etc.
I fucking love this community. I was expecting most comments to be clueless kids who only played 76 or fallout 4 but nah it's literally just filled with Chad's posting funny New Vegas references
Man, that universe would make for some nice fallout mods/games. Playing a Legion soldier or commander trying to restore order after the death of Caesar, or a Brotherhood campaign against the mutants. It would definitely need an engine capable of rendering plenty of enemies, for either case.
I find it interesting how other people's games end up going, the NCR usually dying pretty quickly. In half my games they end up making allies of the Brotherhood, taking the Mojave, and then smashing the Legion effortlessly. The other half they get bogged down hard by their wars with the minor factions before reaching the Mojave, but still managing to hold out against the Legion. Even when the Brotherhood invades they end up holding out and even taking their territories.
The AI in OWB usually performs very badly because the map geometry is set up in a way that just utterly makes the AI crap out. This is why you'll see power houses like the legion getting beat back by minor nations and frequently losing to nations they're supposed to role over. Washington brotherhood for example used to lose it's starting war most of the time because the AI can't cope with the number of fronts with the units given, with the solution being giving them a few lousy extra militia. Little changes like this could make the mod a whole lot better but the dev team is actively hostile to the part of community most familiar with the game.
In my opinion, OWB consists of hoping for someone to kill the legion. In this video, I hoped for the NCR, then the Western Brotherhood, then the Troll Warren, then that Mexican nation at the bottom. Boy was I disappointed :D
The Vulpes Rebellion has saved my ass so many time against massive wars with the legion. It like all I could do is just buckle down and wait. As they can not break my forces but with their numbers. I could never push forward. I once even made friends with Vulpes Legion.

The legion feels a bit to powerful, I was under the impresison that the only thing that kept the NCR from rolling over the legion was that they were distracted elsehwere.

@@bobafett9348 I kinda doubt their football armor would do shit against a bombardment from the NCR, the more you enter their territory the more the technological and tactical difference will hurt the legion. They were struggling to take the Hoover Dam that was in a fringe territory with scarse supplies and manpower. Besides their leadership structure would pretty much doom them the moment Caesar dies it will fracture the empire. Tho they are still a neat faction within the game. I wish more fallout games would follow that format where you actually see the empires in the new world clash or hell even be diplomatic. Going back to a mainly wild area in F4 was a bit of a let down imo.
Im surprised at how fast the Navajo Nation took twin mothers considering that the legion can take upwards of 2 years and take 3k dead before they capitulate twin mothers.
The hardest fucking thing I ever did was win a war as arroyo vs the troll warren, NCR, Western brotherhood. i had to micro the fuck out of the war for 3 hours to even get the troll warren out of the game.

I would like to see that as well, but Enclave reborn is not designed to be played by AI, some of its features won't work at all.
Yup, sadly the IA either goes purist and dies early, or it softblocks on reformist path and won't go to war or do anything at some point

Mods give the nations with generic trees something to do. 3.0 is going to fix some of them so hopefully we will get even more chaos.

The legion feels a bit to powerful, I was under the impresison that the only thing that kept the NCR from rolling over the legion was that they were distracted elsehwere.
The NCR weren't losing against the Legion, the only reason the Legion won was because the brotherhood attacked them when they least expected it

@@DaDunge I've played as the Legion in OWB and I can definitely tell you that the Legion is weak af. They have so many debuffs.

@@bobafett9348 I kinda doubt their football armor would do shit against a bombardment from the NCR, the more you enter their territory the more the technological and tactical difference will hurt the legion. They were struggling to take the Hoover Dam that was in a fringe territory with scarse supplies and manpower. Besides their leadership structure would pretty much doom them the moment Caesar dies it will fracture the empire.
Tho they are still a neat faction within the game. I wish more fallout games would follow that format where you actually see the empires in the new world clash or hell even be diplomatic. Going back to a mainly wild area in F4 was a bit of a let down imo.

The hardest fucking thing I ever did was win a war as arroyo vs the troll warren, NCR, Western brotherhood. i had to micro the fuck out of the war for 3 hours to even get the troll warren out of the game.
