Pile #2: so many insights that I had to keep pausing to take it in properly! I would describe myself as a healer, born into a dysfunctional family. I learnt from a very young age that to be needed and accepted in the family, I needed to 'make' them feel loved, to try to fix everyone. That need to want to fix everyone is deeply ingrained and so I became a naturopath...but keep experiencing recurring bouts of glandular fever or chronic fatigue that would derail my practice. Without proper boundaries you can see why! Pile #2: so many insights that I had to keep pausing to take it in properly! I would describe myself as a healer, born into a dysfunctional family. I learnt from a very young age that to be needed and accepted in the family, I needed to 'make' them feel loved, to try to fix everyone. That need to want to fix everyone is deeply ingrained and so I became a naturopath...but keep experiencing recurring bouts of glandular fever or chronic fatigue that would derail my practice. Without proper boundaries you can see why! UPDATE: It's so fun to watch these in retrospect! So about 6 weeks after this reading, I got TWO films in the same week! One gave me a chance to act with one of my childhood idols. The other was a large role in a film where I was treated like a star. The first week of all this was insanely busy for me and, in many ways, overwhelming time committment-wise. But it wasLITERALLY a dream come true!!! And this was after a year-long dry spell and 11 years of grind that had until now only produced the meagerest of fruit.
