    This man has such an effortless release, if he gets with the right staff they could develop a lethal short passing to medium passing offense around him. Although not as fast his release reminds me of jimmy garapolo where the ball just whips off his hand as soon as he wants to release it. If you take away the fact that Lamar is top 10 athlete at the QB position in the history of the Nfl then this throwing performance is solid and u can see the potential. His running is just a bonus!

    • @Chr1sBrown
      @Chr1sBrown Před 6 lety +7

      plenty of qbs with cannon arm and legs bomb out of the league because they got no accuracy, you need to do what that position is paid to do: throw accurately.

    The more I watch this guy the more I'm thinking he's gonna be way better than most people think. He has a monster cannon for an arm, and he's a freak athlete. Yeah he's gonna have his bad throws every game, but so does every other starting NFL QB. If you can minimize the # of mistakes he makes per game with good QB and Head coaching this guy can win a team a ton of games. He's definitely not Tyrod Taylor 2.0, he's gonna be way better than Tyrod. I just wonder how much better than Vick he's gonna be..........

  • @letoatreides4041

    He just turned 21 4 months ago. He's not used to 5 and 7 step drop backs and he's throwing in front of every nfl analyst and gm, coach, player while competing against the best college has to offer. He'll be very good. 2 or 3 years in a system and he'll be a pro bowler. Probably get up to 230 lbs as well just looking at him.

Lamar Jackson's performance in college against top competition speaks for it's self. Watson didn't even play a full year...
      He did look great while he was playing but the jury is still out on him
      As 49er fan I can still remember how hyped everyone got with Kap when he balled out for 6 games and a playoff run
      Then he totally regressed into being extremely mediocre.

    gotta love how people drool over or give criticism on prospects wearing shirts and shorts
    How about the combine start 6 on 6 drills, 1 WR positioned out left, 1 DB covering, 3 down OL, and 3 DL
    then lets see how these future draftees act in real game siutations with pressure
    One final note, its funny that Cutler has made a career of bad mechanics but gets excused because of his strong arm, yet Jackson seems to continually get critiqued on it all the time. Oh well

    Oh wow rewatching this he really wasn’t using his full arm on these throws to make sure he followed through his mechanics (like a shooter not using full strength when practicing on changing their form to better their shot). That 49 MPH velocity was accurate but damn Lamar barely using his arm and the ball still traveling 49 MPH is nuts. I wouldn’t be surprised if Lamar’s arm strength is in the same range as Mahomes, Vick, Cam Newton, Russell Wilson & Aaron Rodgers.

    I'm flabbergasted. I hear one football pundit after the other complain about Lamar's accuracy and relate it to his 'base.' Supposedly his feet are too close together. I suggest that these fools watch video of Lamar in highschool where he won almost every single game and threw his zingers, one after the other, with pinpoint accuracy. His feet are allegedly not 'right' when he throws. Say what? The pundits should learn something about different styles of play....and check out old footage using these words [see below] in youtube's search box. If anything, his college football training has hampered the wonderful style Lamar had as a youth.
