I've never seen so many unique rigs in one pull before.

Valley Shaker and Super Slimer used to pull on the old USHRA circuit, and appeared on ESPN. This is a great class.

Good to see that Eddie Wiley has finally figured out what to do with the sled 😂... he was always a damn good truck tugger too, really quick on the clutch “prolly cause of them short, stubby ass legs😂” ... I gave up on tugging once the rules started getting too ridiculous, pretty silly when you can’t go buy a 100% stock truck off a car lot and run it in a Street Stock Class. Still a blast either way though

@@Andrew-hh3ol sure there is Cuz, you’re not giving your State enough Credit. There is a damn nice track in SantaRosa. I’m sure truck pulling is a bit more popular here closer to the East Coast but there’s badass engine builders all over the place.

@@warrenmcelroy4718 Santa Rosa isn’t where you wanna be they had some tractor pulls but most were stock trucks or light modified California is only good for dirt bikes and trophy trucks

@@Andrew-hh3ol cuz you can even find vids here on CZcams of some very Badass Sled pulls at SantaRosa, Hot Rid gas engines and 1000hp + diesel engines... but I do get what you’re saying, hell here in Kentucky every single county fair has a motor sports area where you can always count on Sled Pulls, Tug o War’s, mud runs and Demolition Derby’s. When I was growing up we would go to a different county fair every single weekend during the summer, taking at least two, sometimes three different pulling trucks. And I always liked sled pulling but tugging and mud runs gave the best pay out for placing and it doesn’t take much $ to build the trucks to be competitive, sled pulling is a whole different ballgame anymore.

Since the 80s I always wondered what the white mist was coming from the bottoms of the engine at the end of the pull

It’s blow by. Compression leaking past the rings. From the blower boost.
