I can save you all an hour of your lives by summing this up. Do regular moderate to intense exercise often. It improves bloodflow to the brain. Do puzzles and keep learning things such as languages and skills and new information and keep your brain active to keep it young. Engage in active socialization with others regularly. Stimulating conversation helps. Eat omega-3 fatty acids, a mediterranean diet & fruits and berries. Try to keep drug-free. The end.
all good old common sense, thanks HaysGaming!
What kind of puzzle games? I have trouble remembering conversations and lyrics to music.. I feel like It’s listing thing. I just don’t know
You mean NO DRUGS at all?
But I do irregular intense exercise - Looks like I'm doomed!
Thank You Hays very good advice

You think this memory loss treatment method tinyurl.com/memorytreatment9 is simple in the beginning but it will help to improve your brain. I feel like it has really enhanced my memory and I enjoy implying it. My memory keeps me more aware as I observe its changes each day. No therapeutic claims..
awsome lecture

Very Educative.
My phone is having problems of showing notification of Seeing your reply

Mama Rebecca.
Very pleasant and smooth talk with the speaker never claiming to know all but is very well informed....
SANJAY - PERFECT CHOICE OF WORDS! KUDOS!
Nice fun lecture. I like the accent too.
Ignore first 20 minutes unless you need a minute explanation of the difference between forgetfulness and dementia.
We differ. I thought everything was OK. His talk would earn good marks at Toastmasters International
dr bipin 🙏👍
interesting information ! I think that , we can keep our memory by the loving kindness , the pity , the compassion , the sympathy , the equanimity ; when we hate somethings , or we try to forget all the bad things , bad actions that we have done , or we have received from the others , our memory can change as we like and dislike ;
GILBERT! Sounds like you're on the right track. CHEERS.
You skiped importance of mindfulness meditation and fasting in prevention of memory related problems. Also the lecture was too lengthy. But overall you have done a great job.
I use Scriptural meditation and copying to help each day as a routine. Also do some reading each day too in new material.
When you don''t know why you are here.
My Son Dr Mota Jimmy ,you are a good teacher

23:35 How to keep brain fit
Surprisingly, I was very disappointed with with the lecture. The content of his lecture and lack of directly quoting the studies he refers to lost my interest very quickly. I've watched dozens of UCSF mini medical lecture here on CZcams and while many are excellent and a few are average; this is the first one I can honestly say I found to provide negligible useful information at best.
Ok
❤
Not too informative. Very basic stuff I think most everyone already knows. I was hoping for more specifics like what NOT to eat. There's a lot of brain and organ damaging food out there which I am aware of that I was hoping he would cover. It's nice to have a professional reinforce and expound on what I already know.
everyone already knows but nobody does it
Cardio and do puzzles. There. I just helped many prevent demensia. You don't have to watch all this.
It was very interesting ,but on statins regarding cognitive decline didn’t, talk much
I s there brand new medication s coming out soon to heal the people
Choline?
He talks in a funny way :P
Remember that his flawless English is a second language. He talks eloquently.
is this the University of California? OMG. 😨
California has many many campuses. Don't follow you. What are you seeking.
I am taking high dose of fish oil
How much?
very week lecture
VERY WEEK REVIEW. SORRY, I COULDN't RESIST. WHAT WAS WEAK! ANYTHING SPECIFIC?
Very weak spelling ability.
How is "fighting" dementia a good idea to clutter our minds with? If you want to fight some imagined enemy, you've got to hunt for it, study it, and let it occupy all your attention. We don't want to do any of those things with dementia.
Quite the opposite, we want to avoid it.
If you have any ideas on how to avoid dementia, I'd be much obliged. For the moment, I'll leave the obsession with it to you folks.
OMG don’t waste your time I hope he didn’t get paid for the lecture
wtf why cant't we skip or advance in the lecture ?
Any "player" in common use on PC allows you to move to ANY point in a presentation. What's the problem?
how come everything you say is a lie dude why?
KAREN: Everything who says? Which SPECIFIC lies? Which dude? Why what? PLEASE! Pray tell.
surprisingly annoying lecture
PLEASE BE MORE SPECIFIC. Your major surprise? Greatest annoyance? Pray tell.
Very poor lecture!!... :(
9 hour long intro. Guess what, I'm fine, I don't care about the video, here, have a dislike.
I'm going to read a fucking paper, on the same thing, instead of being bored to tears.
YOUR REVIEW LACKS SPECIFICITY. YOUR FAVORITE RELEVANT PAPER? PLEASE ADVISE.
