when a champion, in the perspective of the enemy team has one basic ass skillshot, bouncing blades and an ult that the enemy team cant even tell if its been cast or not its not surprising that people dont even remember that sivir exists. in a meta full of flashy dashes and gamebreaking ults Sivir is just...there.
edit: i also had to read AND play sivir in the training tool recently cause i completely forgot what she does.
Never forget when Riot said, "Yuumi’s mastery curve is more in line with champions like Akali and Qiyana..."

she has a low (like really fucking low) skill floor but a high skill ceiling
@@vannilja uuuh as someone that has mastery 7 on this stupid cat, no, even "advanced" tricks on yuumi are considered average on most other champs, it's just that she relies on having a good game vision to be 100% efficient which isn't related to just her but just about any support xD
@@burgerpackaging Why is the win rate diff between yuumi mains and casual yuumis so big then? IDK if this is still the case but they used to have a 16% higher win rate or something like that

pretty sure they meant in terms of data, not comparing her skill IE: players who pick up yuumi will quickly learn her basics and only improve from there
@@vannilja because yuumi is the go to autofill support champion, they don't know how to set vision etc which ends in her having shit winrate, also don't forget that it's used for bots to level up accounts to lvl 30 which also makes the winrate plummit.

3 Second Snair, AE dmg with execution scaling, Anti-CC shield and a possible 5-man stun.
She doesn’t do enough damage. The ult fails consistently and the W doesn’t do much. The E only works in some scenarios even if useful. Only ability to really hate is Q.
her laning sucks, her dmg is low, she doesn't even do that well in teamfights. Hell, even if i play hook champions, i don't really care that much about morgana. She is one of the worse support in the game right imo

I kind of wonder if a "most loved" list would just be everyone voting for their mains, or if champs like Braum and Jhin would get a lot of votes because we just love them so much as characters.
Or maybe people are vot7ng whit lore so what Champion has an realationshio like xaya and rakan
Lucian and Jhin would def be up there. 2 of the most well designed and fun to play champs.
the 'loved' champs are fun to play, have clear identities and clear counterplay - none of these champs go invisible, don't have poison, aren't untargetable and hence they don't cheese anyone - you know what they can and cannot do and it still doesn't make them weak or totally predictable, when played well they are really good champs, when played badly they can be outplayed - its a skill issue and importantly none of them are stronger in relation to other champ classes - a kata that is behind might not be able to kill a tank, but she can still one shot an adc with little counterplay, but if a jinx/sivir/galio/rakan are behind they may still be somewhat useful in the right set up but they can't just go to a different lane and still one tab someone there or go invisible to pick someone off - they will have to create a good environment in a team fight to come back
good champs often have one dash that fits their kit (Lucian and Ezreal can reposition, they can go in or go out but never both simultaneously unlike zed/akali/ekko/shaco/kata) you cannot simply bail on a bad play once you committed to it - they rely on positioning way more than others and can always be locked down and shut down rather easily

Same here, she was always my go to ban when i played adc or support, before i became a midlaner. Her and Blitz, cuz one blitz hook and you´re dead as adc xD
She can't be the most annoying champion if i've never seen her in 3 years of playing, no matter my role, she'll get my ban.
I just hate playing against her when I'm playing engage supports. Nothing against her lore, kit, character or anything really. Honestly my sup ban is slowly switching to heimer

Well, I think it'll have a lot of intersection with the most hated champions. There are so many zed, yone, Yasuo, lux, irelia mains that I think they can be high

@@riccardomosena4162 Yeah probably but I would still argue, that there are a couple of champs that people like wether they play them or not. Jhin for example. I am a support main and haven't played Jhin all that much, but I would still vote for him.
A "most fun to play against" list would seem more of an opposite of hated to me :) Because people don't really hate playing the champions (except yuumi) they hate playing against them
@@quelquunparla824 Totally agree, that would be a cool list too. But what I was playing at, was him telling us the champs who rated lowest on this list. Which was Sivir if I remember correctly. He kind of hinted towards those being the least hated (and therefore most liked). I just would be interested in how the actually most liked Champs would differ from the Champs that ranked lowest on this tierlist.
I love how the list is just a pendulum between "too braindead" and "too difficult to handle", sums up the League community nicely.

@@Digala02 My problem with Gwen stems from the fact that I know if she was not forced to build the exact same items every game, she would most definitely be a problem like Jax.
She’s scales and comes back is good at Spliting,1v1s,Teamfights,Melting Monsters. She’s like a trynd I guess where she has to scale and is locked like trynd is to crit.
So yes I don’t think she’s top 3 but Jax most definitely should be at minimum 4th imo.

I think that for the least hated, it's not so much that they are least hated, it's that anyone who does hate them for any reason hates three other champions more.

The thing with lux is not only the damage she can dish out, its also the range and the frequency(low cds) of said damage, especially against immobile champs

As a Yuumi main, I can safely say there were MANY times I would tell my friends in advance I was going to play Yuumi only because I wanted to make and eat my dinner too. And it worked most of the time.

Once every 5 years he will show up on the enemy team, get completely fed and 1v9 the game. He may not be very common but he gives as much PTSD as any broken newer champion.

The hilarious thing is, even when the least hated champs are super strong, they're never actually hated or rage inducing. This is simply because there isnt any bullshit in their kits lol. I've mained Jinx for about 6 years (1.4 mil mastery) and even during metas when she can steal baron from 3k hp which is CLEARLY overpowered, nobody gives a crap cuz shes jinx, goofy champ with clear strengths and weaknesses and no bs

Also ADCs aren't the most hated, because they can get one shot by literally any other class including tanks, so it's easy to deal with them if they don't have a good support

You should do one for ARAM! you might actually be surprised how different it is. For me at least, I dont mind karthus or sion in SR, but I despise them in ARAM
To be honest Soraka is my most hated champ at ARAM lmao. Since the game was "ARAM" you cant even flank and kill her from behind while she heals from 0-100 all of her teammates.
artillery mages also get a lot more grief in ARAM. long range attacks are much more devastating in a gamemode where there is one lane and no recalling

Least hated were just balanced champs, 2 decent to situational supports, 2 decent midlaners, 1 decent jungle and then a very strange jungle you just dont see (Ivern) and 2 of the most balanced adc's that only have movespeed and one peel tool to escape, seems like it makes sense as to why they were at the bottom. Funny thing tho, no toplaners in the least most hated, I wonder why?
probably because every toplaner hardcounters some other toplaners and the mains of those countered champion will hate said toplaner, for example: Urgot is faaaar from broken but he makes many matchups really hard in the early game and punishes slight missteps pretty hard but then ends up being completely useless as he will never reach an adc with galeforce flash heal + peel from support/tanks doesnt matter how fed he is so hes pretty much useless in teamfights
mostly because every toplaner is designed to be either a tank, bruiser or assassin which are easily the most hated type of champs. especially because most of them are stat checky bullshit
@@definetlynotsupp good point. toplane is very matchup sensitive due to being a solo lane junglers rarely gank (hence the toplane island meme). any top main is going to have at least one champion they hate playing against (personally, fiora is on my permaban list no matter who i pick)
It's the nature of the champs played in top. The champions you see in top tend to be the 1v5 champs. Like you generally aren't afraid of an adc just face jumping into 3 people and somehow just winning the fight (unless he is fed out of his mind of course) but a Jax, Renekton, or Garen might just because top things.
Least hated primary top laner appears to be chogath, who is probably the most kitable and one of the least engage-y tanks which is understandable
The list was long but I did fill it in. Man I didn't realize there were so many champions with really mid skins (in my opinion) and so many with skins I didn't like at all. And some where I had difficulty choosing the best because there were so many good ones. I'm excited to see the results!

league is a fun game in the sense that its most enjoyable when you know your opponents are as miserable as possible. I love playing singed and getting away after running through the entire enemy team 5 or 6 times

exactly, shacos entire thing is just to annoy people. he's not even a really good champ, he's just designed to cause chaos and piss everyone off and he does that perfectly. in terms of gameplay and what they were trying to achieve he's actually pretty much perfect

There were a lot of missing candidates. No Evelynn or Twitch, the other stealth masters of tilt. I thought those would be top 3 with Yuumi, tbh. And more braindead move speed tanks like Udyr, Trundle, Warwick, or even Hecarim. There's just so much to hate! How does one limit it?

It would be interesting if you polled the most hated champs based on elo and rank too. I feel like a lot of these champs listed were classic low elo toxic champions. Yasuo is the strongest champion? Then why don’t the pros play it? Yone is overloaded? Yet no mention of Aphelios? I think the list should be redone with more conditions and variables taken into place. It would be super interesting to see the difference in opinions from a bronze vs diamond vs challenger

its not about the dashes in irelia its about how uniteractive laning vs her is if she gets even slightly ahead a good irelia will DESTROY YOU, YOUR HOPES, DREAMS AND EVEN YOUR FAMILY. Also her ability to just heal up from any good trade you take

i was surprised by a lack of camille as well. at lategame she basically has cho'gath R on a low cooldown, low mana ability

@@iammario6900 sett is a lot more avoidable. he needs to get up close with flash or a minor movement speed boost at best and land a grab to ensure a W sweetspot. also, you have to burst him down for his W to be a threat in the first place

I LOVE YUUMI. I love her cute voicelines, I think her design is cute, and I think her skins ARE CUTE.. but... I understand why she's the most hated.. and it makes me sad. I wish Riot would do something with her kit. Even if meant giving her a brand new one. I don't want her deleted from the game. But I want Riot to face the fact they messed up and fix this champ.
A champ that is literally just an item is impossible to balance. She’ll always be hated because its fundamentally a poorly designed champ

My list personally is:
1. yuumi (obviously)
2. Fiddlesticks (especially because he is so overtuned right now. Easily the hardest anti carry in the game right now, can basically hard cc you for 4 seconds alone with unavoidable cc. When he hits a good r the fight is immediatly gg. Playing against him requires your team to work together to set up vision and not stay close together and everytime a champ requires teamplay to counter he is a nightmare in soloq.)
3. kassadin (Hyperscaling champ thats supposed to be an Anti Mage but in reality whenever he's strong has no loosing matchups because the champs that are supposed to counter him can't kill him in lane because he is too safe and gets absolutly wild hp and resistances with his items. When an AP assassin can literally go frozen heart and still carry the game something is wrong.)
4. Zilean (god bless that guy has a weak laning phase and is rarely picked at all, should you ever get in a lategame scenario against Zilean you're in for the most antifun experience in league of legends. I doubt most people even know that his lvl 3 ult literally has about 24sec cd. Yes 24seconds on a revive. That plus his bs 99% speed boost and slow makes every adc and toplaner an absolute demigod.
5. Gankplank (The king of toplane, weakside king, no unplayable matchups, impossible to stop him from scaling, highest damage in the game, negates amor, get out of jail free orange, global r, has basically been broken for years now but riot doesn't seem to care.)

A few years ago, whenever I was actively playing, I'd ban many of those champions because most players in silver / gold would pick Zed and go 0/11/1 and then blame the jungler for not ganking followed by the whole team for not being good.

Sivir isn't the least hated. She is the character that is in peoples top 3 most hated the least. This means she rarely has a lasting and deep hatred.

Seraphine lore isn’t even that bad. Sure it’s mediocre and doesent give her much personality, but definetly not as bad as the memes make it out to be. And if taken LoR card description into account she’s great.

You pretty much know how to play against her which is win early hard enough that she can’t come back

Honestly, a lot of these champs I don't have a problem with. Some champs are just more powerful in the hands of people who are good at them. Yasuo, Irellia, Shaco to a lesser extent. Whenever I play against them, I at least have the solace of knowing that they have 10x the experience on their champ than I do.
The champs I can't stand though, are the ones that you can hypercarry with on your first game with them. Champs that are either absurdly safe, or are just too strong for how little they have going on. Lux, Yi, Illaoi, Heimerdinger, Riven. All of them constantly chunk away at your health while your only option is to just watch.
I also just hate Yone, for having the same effective range as Xerath, as a melee champ. Three dashes, 2 sources of hard cc, a shield, no mana, and a metric shitton of damage. Second wind + Doran's Shield lets him shrug off any poke, and once he gets Vampiric Scepter he heals more off the wave than you can hurt.
Tldr: strong champs with high skill ceiling 👍, strong champs with low skill ceiling 👎. Fuck Yone.

I've only seen one true 1v9 in league where literally all 4 other players were a hindrance, me included. The Yasuo on our team (who wasn't even a smurf) did almost 3x all of our damage combined and I can't hate him, wind wall or not.
TLDR, a cat turned up to be the most broken character ever so everyone banned it.
seeing shaco as one of the top 3 really makes me happy because im a main shaco top, and my only job in league is to make my opponents angry

Mundo not being there is actually criminal, easily top 5 worst champions EVER made the rework was a joke and he boosts your actual rank by at least 3-4 divisions
When I got to the top 3 I was like "well, I wasn't expecting Lulu to be that high but it is a good thing people finally caught on on how annoying she is" being certain the top 3 was gonna be Yuumi, Shaco and Lulu. But then the third place showed up and it was a mix of "Oh, yeah, Teemo exists", "Teemo hate is just a meme at this point" and "what do you mean Lulu is not in the list?"
Akali, Aphelios, Azir, Fiora, Gwen, Irelia, Janna, Kalista, Kassadin, Katarina, Lulu, Morgana, Qiyana, Riven, Ryze, Soraka, Vladimir, Yasuo, Yone and Yuumi would be my top 20 in no particular order. But the top 3 would definitly be Yuumi third, Soraka second, then Lulu first because those champions do two things: be anti-game and be a stat battery.
It may look like it at first, but no, I am not the "hurr durr e-girl trash" type of person. I have the utter most respect for Lux, Nami and Karma players. Or even Janna before she got her last rework. It is just that these champions come down to "my job is to make sure plays don't happen" and "I'm a walkable 7th item slot".

A bit overated at this point but mine was Yasuo and Seraflop, the wind guy because of the usual stuff like with his annoying abilities and spamming its Rank, Sera on the other hand was simply because of its disappointing it is, from her lore, to her Sona 2.0 kit, and just to the way how cocky she sounds sometimes too idk but yeah... 🙃

As a Seraphine main I found myself agreeing a lot with not liking her lore, but her personality and kit and aesthetics are really nice! Great gameplay and she's not as similar to Sona for anyone that takes even a look at her kit.

Hi, person who likes Seraphine here.
I think her lore is fine as someone who tries to connect both Zaun and Piltover with a combination of music and tech. Her kit feels very diferent from Sona both when playing as or agaisnt, but haters only have 1 working braincell and call it "buffed Sona" just because both are music themed (by that dumb logic every water champion is the same idk).
There's 2 champs not even in the list who should be top 5 at least are Yorick and Vladimir. Both have lores that nothing was made with them, making them lackluster and worse than Seraphine's, besides that their kits are the worst, both tanks with a lot of damage, 1 with insane regen that can 1v9 and the other who only know to permapush and be something annoying to deal with.

I feel like I don't think about characters I hate very often. I just typically deal with who I'm against. I hate all champions equally. I usually just ban based on who I least trust my team to fight
Honestly I only clicked on this to see where Seraphine was. Surprised it wasn't higher, but stuck around because why not XD Personally my least favorite was Irelia. I was a Poppy one of my mains pre-rework, right up to the day it dropped. And if I saw Irelia, there was no winning. Poppy's thing was taking reduced damage from attacks, stuning a target against a wall, and becoming immune to the rest of the team for a few seconds. Irelia basically ignored that passive, would dash to mess up the stun, and could deny you those few seconds to assassinate. It was the one champ where there was 0 counterplay, and a primary reason Poppy wasn't played. Obviously that was a while ago, Poppy's not even my main anymore, but I'm never forgetting those early days.
Clearly this was before reksai got buff through the roof, and possibly before duskblade gave you free invincibility

When I see people with like hundreds of k on Lux. Their entire existence based on poking enemy with q-e spam and an ult with like 30 seconds cooldown. I used to main Aurelion before it got reworked and just didn't understand how there could be a huge gap between Aurelion and Lux's seemingly similar ults. Lux's ult scale much better, has much longer range and a cooldown like one third of Aurelion's. The single only miniscule plus Aurelion old ult had pushing back enemies if they are right next to you. Heck even Xerath Q was almost stronger than Aurelion's ult. (Also Aurelion ult was actually a projectile so could easily countered with wind wall etc)
